أخبرنا الحسن بن حَليم المروَزي، حدثنا أبو المُوجِّه، أخبرنا عَبْدان، أخبرنا عبد الله، أخبرنا حَيوة بن شُريح، حدثني شُرَحْبيل بن شَريك، عن أبي عبد الرحمن الحُبُلي، عن عبد الله بن عمرو، عن النبي ﷺ، قال: "خيرُ الأصحابِ عند الله خيرُهم لصاحبه، وخيرُ الجِيران عند الله خيرُهم لجارِه" (3)
هذا حديث صحيح الإسناد، ولم يُخرجاه.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The best of companions in the sight of Allah is the one who is best to his companion, and the best of neighbours in the sight of Allah is the one who is best to his neighbour."
This hadith has a sahih (authentic) chain of narration, but the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it.

(3) إسناده قوي من أجل شرحبيل بن شريك، فهو صدوق لا بأس به. أبو الموجِّه: هو محمد بن عمرو الفزاري، وعَبْدان: هو عبد الله بن عثمان بن جَبَلة، وعبدان لقبه، وعبد الله: هو ابن المبارك، وأبو عبد الرحمن الحُبُلي: هو عبد الله بن يزيد المَعافِري.
Grading: The chain is qawi (strong) because of Shurahbil bin Sharik; he is saduq.
Technical note / Defect ('illah): By Abu al-Muwajjih is meant Muhammad bin Amr al-Fazari, by Abdan Abdullah bin Uthman, and by Abu Abd al-Rahman al-Hubuli Abdullah bin Yazid al-Ma'afiri.
وأخرجه الترمذي (1944)، وابن حبان (518) و (519) من طرق عن عبد الله بن المبارك، بهذا الإسناد. وحسَّنه الترمذي.
Reference / Source: Al-Tirmidhi (1944) and Ibn Hibban (518, 519) narrated it through Ibn al-Mubarak, and al-Tirmidhi graded it hasan.
وسيتكرر برقم (7482)، وتقدَّم برقم (1637) من طريق عبد الله بن يزيد المقرئ عن حيوة.
Reference / Source: It will come again at number (7482), and it has already passed at number (1637).
