Explanation & Benefits
Shaykh Adil Murshid et al.
Technical note / Defect ('illah): In manuscript (B), "Isra'il" is written in place of "Sharik", which is a clear mistake.

Grading: The chain is "sahih" by way of Isra'il and "hasan" by way of Sharik
Note / Clarification: Hajjaj is Ibn Muhammad al-Missisi, and Abu Kamil refers to Muzaffar bin Mudrik.
Reference / Source: This narration is found in "Musnad Ahmad" (6/ 3754) and (7/ 4026).
Reference / Source: Ibn Majah (2279) narrated it through this same chain of Amr bin Awn.
Corroborating chains and supporting reports: This narration will come later at number (8090) by way of Ya'qub bin Sufyan.
Note / Clarification: "Al-qull" means scarcity; that is, although usury outwardly increases wealth, in the end it causes a loss of blessing in wealth and ruin, as is in the Qur'an: "Allah destroys usury and increases charity".
