حدَّثَناه أبو سعيد أحمد بن يعقوب الثقفي، حدثنا عبد الله بن أحمد بن عبد الرحمن بن عبد الله الدَّشْتَكي، حدثنا أَبي، حدثنا أَبي، حدثنا عمرو بن أبي قيس عن عاصم، عن أبي الأحوص، عن عبد الله، عن النبي ﷺ نحوه (1).

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said the like of it.
This hadith has a sahih (authentic) chain of narration, but the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it.
