حدَّثَناهُ أبو علي الحافظ، أخبرنا العباس بن أحمد بن حسّان السُّلمي بالبصرة، حدثنا عبد الوهاب بن الضحّاك، حدثنا إسماعيل بن عيّاش عن عمر بن محمد بن زيد، عن سالم بن عبد الله بن عمر، عن أبيه، عن عمر، أنَّ رسول الله ﷺ قال: "مَن دخل السُّوق فقال: لا إله إلَّا الله وحدَه لا شريك له، له الملكُ وله الحمدُ، يحيي ويميت، وهو حيٌّ لا يموت، بيده الخيرُ، وهو على كلِّ شيء قديرٌ، كتبَ الله له ألفَ ألفِ حسنةٍ، وحَطَّ عنه ألفَ ألفِ سيئةٍ، ورَفعَ له ألفَ ألفِ درجةٍ" (1). وقد كتَبناهُ من حديث هشام بن حسّان عن عبد الله بن دينار:
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Umar bin al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever enters the market and says: 'La ilaha illallahu wahdahu la sharika lah, lahul-mulku wa lahul-hamd, yuhyi wa yumit, wa huwa hayyun la yamut, bi yadihil-khayr, wa huwa 'ala kulli shay'in qadir' (There is no god but Allah, alone, without partner; His is the dominion and His is all praise; He gives life and causes death; He is Ever-Living and will never die; all good is in His hand, and He has complete power over all things), Allah Almighty records for him a million good deeds, erases from him a million sins, and raises him a million degrees."
