It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jubayr bin Mut'im (may Allah be pleased with him) that on the Day of Arafah a camel of mine went missing, so I set out towards Arafat to look for it, and I saw Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) standing on his camel among the people on the evening of Arafah, and this happened after revelation had come down to him (peace and blessings be upon him).
This hadith has a sahih (authentic) chain of narration, but the two Shaykhs did not record it. Both of them agreed on the narration of Ibn Uyaynah which mentions the "Hums," and that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to stand at a mountain pass of Makkah.

Explanation & Benefits
Shaykh Adil Murshid et al.
Technical note: In the manuscripts and the printed edition the name became "Muhammad bin Bukayr" or "Muhammad bin Zakariyya"; the correct name is "Muhammad bin Bakr al-Bursani", as in manuscript (z).
Grading: The chain is "da'if" (weak) because of the weakness of 'Abd al-'Aziz bin Jurayj (the father of Ibn Jurayj). Reference / Source: It was narrated by Ibn Khuzaymah (3059) with this same chain, Muhammad bin Ma'mar from Muhammad bin Bakr. Reference / Source: Ahmad (27/16776) narrated it without the intermediary of (Ibn Jurayj's) father ('Abd al-'Aziz). Technical note / Defect ('illah): Its words "after revelation was sent down to him" contradict the previous hasan narration, which mentions "before revelation was sent down to him". Reference / Source: In the Sahihayn this hadith is narrated with a different context: Muhammad bin Jubayr narrates from his father that, while looking for his camel on the Day of 'Arafah, he saw the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) standing at 'Arafat, and he was surprised at what he (peace and blessings be upon him), despite being one of the "Hums" (the Quraysh group), was doing here (a place of the non-Hums)? (al-Bukhari 1664).
Technical note: In the manuscripts this word became "al-jaras"; the correct word is "al-Hums", as is clear from the context of the narration. Note / Clarification: "Hums" refers to the Quraysh; the Quraysh (during Hajj) used to stay at Muzdalifah while all the other Arabs stood at 'Arafat, but the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), with Allah's support, kept to what was right and stood at 'Arafat.
