وقد حدَّثَناه أبو العباس محمد بن يعقوب، حدثنا الرَّبيع بن سليمان. وحدثنا أبو العباس، أخبرنا محمد بن عبد الله بن عبد الحكم؛ قالا: أخبرنا عبد الله بن وَهْب، أخبرني أسامة بن زيد، أنَّ محمد بن يحيى بن حَبّان الأنصاري أخبره، أنَّ واسعَ بنَ حَبَّان حدّثه، أنَّ أبا سعيدٍ الخُدْري حدثه، أنَّ رسول الله ﷺ قال: "نَهيتُكم عن زيارة القُبور فزُوروها، فإنَّ فيها عِبرةً، ونهيتُكم عن النَّبيذ، ألا فانْبِذُوا، ولا أُحِلُّ مُسكِرًا، ونهيتُكم عن لحوم الأضاحيِّ، فكُلُوا وادَّخِروا" (2).
هذا حديث صحيح على شرط مسلم، ولم يُخرجاه.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I had forbidden you from visiting graves; now visit them, for in it there is a lesson. And I had forbidden you from nabidh (fruit drinks); so now you may prepare it, but I do not make any intoxicant lawful. And I had forbidden you (to store) the meat of sacrificial animals; now eat it and store it too."
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of Muslim, but they did not record it.

(2) حديث صحيح، وهذا إسناد حسن من أجل أسامة بن زيد: وهو اللَّيثي.
Grading: (2) The chain is hasan on account of Usamah bin Zayd al-Laythi, and the hadith is sahih.
وأخرجه أحمد 17/ (11329) من طريق عبد الله بن المبارك، عن أسامة بن زيد الليثي، بهذا الإسناد.
Reference / Source: Ahmad (17/11329) narrated it with the chain Ibn al-Mubarak from Usamah al-Laythi.
وأخرجه بنحوه أحمد 18/ (11606) و (11627) من طريق عمرو بن ثابت، عن أبي سعيد الخدري.
Reference / Source: Ahmad narrated it with a similar meaning, with the chain Amr bin Thabit from Abu Sa'id al-Khudri.
وأخرج قصة الأضاحيّ أحمد 17/ (11176)، والنسائي (4502)، وابن حبان (5926) من طريق زينب بنت كعب بن عجرة، عن أبي سعيد الخدري.
Reference / Source: The story of the sacrificial meat was narrated by Ahmad (17/11176), al-Nasa'i and Ibn Hibban with the chain of Zaynab bint Ka'b.
وأخرجها أيضًا أحمد 18/ (11543) من طريق أيوب السختياني، والنسائي (4508) من طريق عبد الله بن عون، كلاهما عن محمد بن سيرين، عن أبي سعيد. ويغلب على ظننا أن ابن سيرين لم يسمع أبا سعيد الخدري.
Grading: Ibn Sirin's narration from Abu Sa'id is probably munqati', since his hearing from him is not established.
فقد رواه يزيد بن إبراهيم التستري - وهو ثقة - عن محمد بن سيرين، عن أبي العلانية، عن أبي سعيد. أخرجه أحمد 45/ (27157). وأبو العلانية وثقه أبو داود والبزار.
Corroborating chains and supporting reports: Yazid bin Ibrahim mentioned "Abu al-Alaniyah" as an intermediary between Ibn Sirin and Abu Sa'id, and he is a trustworthy narrator.
