أخبرني أبو أحمد بن أبي الحسن الدَّارِمي، حدثنا محمد بن سليمان بن فارس، حدثنا محمد بن رافع، حدثنا ابن أبي فُدَيك، أخبرنا ابن أبي ذِئب، عن ابن شِهَاب، عن سالم بن عبد الله بن عمر، عن أبيه: أنَّ رسول الله ﷺ كان إذا مرَّتْ به جنازةٌ وَقَفَ حتى تمُرَّ به (1).
هذا حديث صحيحٌ على شرط الشيخين، ولم يُخرجاه. وليس هذا متنَ حديث ابن عمر عن عامر بن رَبِيعة، فإِنَّ ذلك المتنَ في تَشْييعِ الجنازة، وهذا في القيام للجنازة، على كثرة اختلاف الروايات فيه.

Salim bin Abdullah narrates from his father, Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both), that whenever a funeral passed by the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), he would stand until it had passed.
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim), but they did not record it. This is not the text of the hadith of Sayyiduna Ibn Umar from Amir bin Rabi'ah, for that text concerns accompanying the funeral, while this one concerns standing for the funeral, despite the many differences among the narrations on this matter.

(1) إسناده صحيح. محمد بن رافع: هو النيسابوري، وابن أبي فديك: هو محمد بن إسماعيل، وابن أبي ذئب: هو محمد بن عبد الرحمن، وابن شهاب: هو محمد بن مسلم الزهري.
Grading: (1) Its chain is sahih. Ibn Abi Dhi'b and Ibn Shihab al-Zuhri are trustworthy narrators in it.
وأخرجه الطيالسي (1913) عن ابن أبي ذئب، بهذا الإسناد.
Reference / Source: Al-Tayalisi (1913) narrated it via Ibn Abi Dhi'b with this same chain.
وأخرج ابن شاهين في "ناسخ الحديث ومنسوخه" (336) من طريق شعبة، عن عبد الله بن عون، عن نافع، عن ابن عمر: أنه مرت به جنازة فقام، وحدَّث عن النبي ﷺ أنه فعل مثله.
Reference / Source: Ibn Shahin narrated from Nafi' from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that a bier passed by him and he stood up, and he said that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had also done so.
وأخرج الطحاوي في "شرح معاني الآثار" 1/ 484، والطبراني في "المعجم الكبير" (13483) من طريق أبي يحيى القتات، عن مجاهد، عن ابن عمر قال: رأيت رسول الله ﷺ قام الجنازة يهودي مرَّت عليه. وذكر في رواية الطحاوي قصة.
Reference / Source: Al-Tahawi and al-Tabarani narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both): "I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) stand up for the bier of a Jew."
وفي الباب عن سهل بن حنيف وقيس بن سعد عند البخاري (1312)، ومسلم (961).

وعن أبي سعيد الخدري عند البخاري (1310)، ومسلم (959) (77)، وفيه عندهما: "إذا رأيتم الجنازة فقوموا"، وهو الحديث السالف قبل هذا إلّا أنه لم يذكر هنا الأمر بالقيام للجنازة.
