Sayyiduna Shaddad bin Aws (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When you are present with a dying person, close his eyes (after he dies), for the sight follows the soul, and say (at that time) only what is good, for the angels say Amin to the supplication of the household."
This hadith has an authentic chain (sahih al-isnad), but the two Shaykhs did not record it.

Explanation & Benefits
Shaykh Adil Murshid et al.
Grading: (2) It is "sahih li-ghayrihi", and this chain is weak because of the weakness of Qaza'ah bin Suwayd. Humayd al-A'raj refers to Ibn Qays al-Makki, and al-Zuhri refers to Muhammad bin Muslim bin Shihab. Reference / Source: Ahmad (28/17136) and Ibn Majah (1455) narrated it via two routes from Qaza'ah bin Suwayd with this same chain. (6911). Corroborating chains and supporting reports: It is supported by the hadith of Umm Salamah in Muslim (920), which will come with the author (al-Hakim) at number (6911).
