Grading: This hadith is sahih; although this chain is weak because of the weakness of al-Qasim bin Muhammad bin Abi Shaybah, it becomes strong because of corroboration. Technical note / Defect ('illah): Abu Khalid al-Ahmar's actual name is Sulayman bin Hayyan. Reference / Source: Ibn Majah (1549) and al-Nasa'i (2139) narrated the opening part of it with this same chain of Abu Khalid al-Ahmar. Reference / Source: Imam al-Tabari narrated it in full in "Tahdhib al-Athar - Musnad Umar" (2/497-500) through the chain of al-Hakam bin Bashir from Amr bin Qays al-Mula'i.
