Sahl bin Mu'adh bin Anas al-Juhani narrates from his father that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade "hubwah" (sitting with the knees drawn up against the stomach and wrapped with a cloth or the hands) on Friday while the imam is delivering the sermon.
This hadith has a sahih (authentic) chain, but the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it.

Hadith Grading
Explanation & Benefits

Grading: (2) There is some weakness in the chain, because Abu Marhum (Abd al-Rahim bin Maymun) is alone in narrating it; Ibn al-Mundhir and Ibn al-Qattan graded it weak, so he is only considered in corroborating chains (mutaba'at).
Reference / Source: Ahmad (24/15630), Abu Dawud (1110) and al-Tirmidhi (514) narrated it through the chain of Abdullah bin Yazid al-Muqri'. Al-Tirmidhi called it "hasan".
(Note / Clarification): "al-hubwah" (with kasrah or dammah on the ha'): sitting with the knees drawn up to the stomach and bound with a cloth or the hands. According to Ibn al-Athir, it was forbidden because it brings on sleep, so that the sermon is not heard, and there is a risk of the ablution being broken.
