حدثنا أبو بكر بن إسحاق وعبد الله محمد بن موسى قالا: حدثنا محمد بن أيوب، حدثنا إبراهيم بن موسى، حدثنا هشام، عن مَعمَر، عن إسماعيل ابن أُمية، عن نافع، عن ابن عمر: أنَّ النبي ﷺ نَهَى رجلًا وهو جالسٌ مُعتمِدٌ على يده اليسرى في الصلاة فقال: "إنها صلاةُ اليهودِ" (2).
هذا حديث صحيح على شرط الشيخين، ولم يُخرجاه.

Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) relates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade a man who was sitting in prayer leaning on his left hand, and said: "Indeed, this is the prayer (manner) of the Jews."
This hadith is sahih on the condition of the two Shaykhs, but they did not record it.

Grading: (2) Its chain is sahih. Hisham is al-San'ani.
وأخرجه البيهقي 2/ 136 عن أبي عبد الله الحاكم، بهذا الإسناد.
Reference / Source: Al-Bayhaqi (2/136) narrated it via Imam al-Hakim, with this same chain.
وسلف عند المصنف برقم (933) من طريق عبد الرزاق عن معمر، ولم يذكر فيه قوله: "إنها صلاة اليهود".
Repetition: It has already passed at number (933) via the chain of Abd al-Razzaq from Ma'mar, but without the words "this is the prayer of the Jews".
