Mustadrak al-Hakim — Hadith 1014

Abu Salih says: I was with Sayyidah Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) when a young relative of hers with long hair came in and stood up to pray, and he began to blow (to clear the dust from the place of prostration). She said: My son, do not blow, for I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say to a black slave of ours: "O Rabah, let your face get dusty (that is, do not brush the dust away)."
This hadith has a sahih chain, but the two Shaykhs did not record it.

Explanation & Benefits
Shaykh Adil Murshid et al.
Grading: (2) It may be graded a "hasan hadith". Maymun al-A'war (Abu Hamzah) is weak, but he is not alone in it: several other narrators narrated it from Abu Salih (the client of Talhah), and Ibn Hibban listed Abu Salih among the thiqat, with no one criticising him.
(Clarification): There is disagreement about this slave's name (Rabah, Yasar or Aflah), but this does not affect the basic ruling that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) told him to "let his face touch the dust" (i.e., not to blow the dust away in prostration).
Reference / Source: Ahmad (44/26744) and al-Tirmidhi (381, 382) narrated it via Maymun Abu Hamzah, but al-Tirmidhi deemed it defective (ma'lul) because of Maymun.
Reference / Source: Ahmad (26572) narrated it via Sa'id al-Warraq, and Ibn Hibban (1913) via Dawud bin Abi Hind, both from Abu Salih.
Variation in the chain: Abu Ya'la (6954) recorded it via Kamil al-Jahdari from Hammad bin Salamah from Asim from Abu Salih, but others (Affan from Hammad, in Ahmad 26744) gave it as Abu Hamzah from Abu Salih.
(Clarification): "Fa-nafakha" means he blew on the ground so that the dust would fly away, and "tarrib wajhak" means let your face touch the dust (i.e., prostrate on the dust).
