It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that once two slaves fought with each other, one of whom belonged to a Muhajir and the other to an Ansari. The Muhajir called out to the Muhajirin and the Ansari called out to the Ansar for help. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came out upon hearing these calls and said: "What are these cries of ignorance?" The people replied: "By Allah! There is nothing like that, but both slaves pushed each other." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "There is no harm in this. A person should help his brother whether he is an oppressor or oppressed. If he is an oppressor, then stop him from oppression, that is his help; and if he is oppressed, then help him."

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to deliver sermons leaning against the trunk of a tree. When the pulpit was made and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) sat on it, that wooden trunk began to weep like a she-camel cries for its young, and all the people present in the mosque heard its sound. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came to it and embraced it, and then it became silent.

It is narrated from Hazrat Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) led us in prayer in Madinah Munawwarah on the tenth of Dhul-Hijjah. Some people had already performed the sacrifice, thinking that perhaps the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had already offered his sacrifice. It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When the people of Paradise and the people of Hell will be distinguished, and the people of Paradise will enter Paradise and the people of Hell will enter Hell, then the noble Prophets will stand and intercede. They will be told: Go and bring out from Hell whomever you recognize. Thus, they will bring them out, and at that time their faces will have been burnt. Then they will be dipped into the River of Life, and when they come out from there, all their darkness will fall off at the bank of the river, and they will come out shining like cucumbers. After that, the noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) will intercede again. They will be told: Go and bring out from Hell anyone in whose heart you find faith equal to a qirat. Thus, they will bring out many people. Then they will intercede again, and they will be told: Go and bring out from Hell anyone in whose heart you find faith equal to a mustard seed. Thus, they will bring out many people. After that, Allah will say: Now I, with My knowledge and grace, will bring people out of Hell. Thus, a number double or triple the previous ones will be brought out of Hell, and it will be written on their necks that these are the slaves freed by Allah. Then, when they enter Paradise, they will be called "the people of Hell."

The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) replied: (No, that too is forbidden, then he said:) May Allah curse the Jews; when Allah forbade them the fat, they melted it, sold it, and consumed its price.
