Hadith 12221
It is narrated from Hazrat Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Once, when I was a child playing with other children, suddenly a man came and he grabbed me and split open my stomach. He took out a clot of congealed blood from it and threw it away, saying, "This was the portion of Satan in your body." Then he washed my stomach with Zamzam water from a golden basin, then sewed it up and stitched it. Seeing this, all the children ran to my mother and said, "Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) has been killed." My mother came running and saw that the color of the blessed face of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was changing. Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) says that we used to see the marks of the stitching on the blessed chest of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).

It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that once Hazrat Umm Sulaym (may Allah be pleased with her) asked the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that if a woman also sees a "dream" like a man sees, then what is the ruling? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: If a woman sees such a "dream" and experiences discharge, then she should perform ghusl (ritual bath). Umm al-Mu'mineen Hazrat Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) submitted, "O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)! Can this also happen?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Yes! The fluid of a man is thick and white, and the fluid of a woman is thin. Whichever of the two prevails, the child resembles that one.

Waqid bin Amr bin Sa'd, may Allah have mercy on him (who was a very handsome and well-built man), says that once I went to the house of Hazrat Anas, may Allah be pleased with him. He asked me, "Who are you?" I told him that my name is Waqid and I am the grandson of Hazrat Sa'd bin Mu'adh, may Allah be pleased with him. He said, "You greatly resemble Sa'd," then he was overcome with weeping and cried for a long time. Then he said, "May Allah's mercy descend upon Sa'd; he was a great and tall man among the people." Then he said that once the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, sent an army towards Akid Roomah. He (Akid Roomah) sent to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, a silk cloak "which was embroidered with gold." The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, wore it and ascended the pulpit, stood or sat, but did not say anything. After a short while, he descended, and people began to touch and look at the cloak. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "Are you amazed at this?" The people said, "We have never seen a garment better than this before." The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "What you are seeing, in Paradise, the handkerchiefs of Sa'd bin Mu'adh, may Allah be pleased with him, are far better than this."

It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that Akid of Rome sent a jar of "man" to the service of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). After finishing the prayer, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) passed by a group and began to give each man among them a portion. Hazrat Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) was also among them, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) gave him a portion as well. Then, after some time, he returned to him and gave him another portion. He said, "You have already given me once." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "This is for the daughters of Abdullah (your sisters)."

When the Muslims heard this, they said, "O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)! Congratulations to you, for Allah has granted you this bounty. What is there for us?" Upon this, this verse was revealed: "That He may admit the believing men and the believing women to gardens beneath which rivers flow, to abide therein forever, and may remove from them their misdeeds; and that is, in the sight of Allah, a great success."

It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) migrated, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was sitting in front on the mount and Hazrat Siddiq Akbar (may Allah be pleased with him) was behind. Hazrat Siddiq Akbar (may Allah be pleased with him) knew the routes because he used to travel to Syria. Whenever they passed by a group and the people asked, "Abu Bakr! Who is this sitting in front of you?" he would reply, "He is a guide who is guiding me." When they neared Madinah Munawwarah, they sent a message to the Ansari companions who had embraced Islam, Hazrat Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) and his companions. They came to serve both of them and said, "Both of you may enter Madinah in peace and security; you will be obeyed." Thus, both of them entered Madinah Munawwarah. Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) says, "I have never seen a day brighter and more beautiful than the day when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and Hazrat Siddiq Akbar (may Allah be pleased with him) entered Madinah Munawwarah, and I have also witnessed the day of the Prophet's (peace and blessings be upon him) departure from this world, and I have never seen a day darker and more dreadful than that day."

Someone said, "O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)! A very beautiful slave girl has come into the share of Dihyah." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) bought her in exchange for seven persons and, after purchasing her, sent her to Hazrat Umm Sulaim (may Allah be pleased with her) so that she could adorn and prepare her as a bride. During this time, people began to wonder whether the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would marry her or keep her as a slave girl. But when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) made her ride on a mount, placed a veil, and seated her behind himself, people understood that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had married her. When they neared Madinah Munawwarah, people, according to their custom, began to jump down from their mounts. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) also began to dismount in the same way, but the she-camel slipped and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) fell to the ground, and Hazrat Safiyyah (may Allah be pleased with her) also fell. The other noble wives were watching and said, "May Allah distance this Jewess and do such and such to her." It is narrated from Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was on a journey or expedition and night would fall, he would supplicate: O earth! My Lord and your Lord is Allah. I seek refuge in Allah from your evil, the evil within you, the evil of what has been created in you, and the evil of those who walk upon you. I seek refuge in Allah from every lion and black creature, from snakes and scorpions, from the evil of the inhabitants of the town, and from the evil of father and offspring.
