It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came and stood by the blessed body of Hazrat Hamza (may Allah be pleased with him). He saw that the polytheists had mutilated his body. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "If Safiyyah would not feel burdened in her heart, I would have left him as he is so that birds would eat his flesh and on the Day of Resurrection he would come out from the bellies of those birds." Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) called for a sheet and shrouded him in it. When the sheet was pulled over his head, his feet would be uncovered, and when it was pulled over his feet, his head would be uncovered. During the Battle of Uhud, the number of martyrs was large and the shrouds were few, so two or three men would be wrapped together in one shroud. However, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would ask which of them knew more of the Qur'an, and he would place that one closest to the Qiblah. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) buried all of them in this manner and did not perform their funeral prayer.

It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When I reached Sidrat al-Muntaha, I saw that its fruits were as large as water jars and its leaves were as big as elephant ears. When it was covered by that which covered it by Allah's command, it turned into ruby and emerald.

It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that Rubayyi‘, who was the paternal aunt of Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him), broke the tooth of a girl. Then her family asked the girl's family for forgiveness, but they refused to forgive and came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) demanding retribution (qisas). Anas bin Nadr (may Allah be pleased with him) said, "O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)! Will the tooth of so-and-so (my sister) be broken?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Anas! The decision of the Book of Allah is retribution (qisas)." He said, "By Him Who has sent you with the truth, the tooth of so-and-so woman will not be broken." In the meantime, those people became pleased and forgave her and gave up their demand for retribution. Upon this, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "There are some servants of Allah, if they swear by Allah about something, Allah surely fulfills their oath."
Hadith 12303
It is narrated from Hazrat Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that one of my uncles once invited the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) for a meal and said, "O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)! I wish that you eat food at my house and pray there." So the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came. There was a mat in the house which had become old and black. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered it to be placed in a corner, it was dusted and water was sprinkled on it. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) prayed there and we also prayed with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).

Hazrat Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) caught Abu Jahl by his beard and said, "Are you Abu Jahl?" He replied, "Have you ever killed a man greater than me?"

Bukair bin Wahb, may Allah have mercy on him, says that once Hazrat Anas, may Allah be pleased with him, said to me: "I will narrate to you a hadith which I do not narrate to everyone, and it is this: Once the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, stood at the door of a house while we were inside it, and said: 'There will be leaders from among the Quraysh, and they will have rights over you, and you will have rights over them in the same way. When people ask them for mercy, they should show mercy; when they make a promise, they should fulfill it; when they judge, they should judge with justice. Whoever does not do so, upon him is the curse of Allah, the angels, and all people.'"
