Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Once Paradise and Hell had a mutual debate. Paradise said, "O Lord! What is my fault that only the poor and people of lower status will enter me?" And Hell said, "What is my fault that only the tyrants and arrogant people will enter me?" Allah said to Hell, "You are My punishment; I will punish with you whomever I wish." And He said to Paradise, "You are My mercy; I will show mercy through you to whomever I wish. And I will fill both of you." Thus, as many people as are thrown into Hell, it will keep saying, "Is there any more?" until Allah will place His foot of power in it, at which point Hell will be filled, and its parts will contract and join together, and it will say, "Enough, enough, enough." And for Paradise, Allah will create a new creation according to His will.

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that once he saw in a dream that he was writing Surah Sad. When he reached the verse of prostration, he saw that the inkwell, pen, and everything that was present there all fell into prostration. Upon waking up, he related this dream to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and after that, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) always performed the prostration of recitation in it.
Hadith 11742
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When you hear the call to prayer (adhan), say the same phrases that the muezzin says.
Hadith 11743
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that once I bought a ram for sacrifice. Coincidentally, a wolf came and bit off and ate a part of its haunch. I asked the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) (whether it could still be sacrificed or not?). The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Sacrifice it as it is.

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), while discussing "azl" (withdrawal), said: Will you create this newborn? Will you provide sustenance for it? Allah has placed it in its abode, so this is a part of destiny, and this is destiny.

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said in the explanation of this verse: "Then We made those whom We chose from among Our servants inherit the Book; then among them are some who wrong themselves, some who are moderate, and some who are foremost in good deeds." He said: All of these are of the same rank and all will enter Paradise.

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Saeed (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Those who are destined for Hell will remain in it forever; neither will death come to them nor will they be granted life. However, those upon whom Allah intends to show mercy, He will cause them to die in Hell. Then the intercessors will intercede for them, and they will come out of it in groups. They will bathe in a special river—whose name will be the River of Life, or Hayat, or Hayawan, or the River of Paradise—and they will grow forth just as a seed grows in the flow of a flood.
Hadith 11747
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Saeed (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: There is no zakat on less than five camels, there is no zakat on less than five wasq of wheat, and there is no zakat on less than five uqiyah of silver.
Hadith 11748
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was more modest than a veiled virgin girl, and when something displeased him, we would recognize it from his blessed face.

Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that once we were returning from Madinah Munawwarah with a group of people from the east. Abdullah bin Sayyad was also included in this army. No one would talk to him, nor was anyone willing to befriend him, and no one would eat or drink with him. Rather, everyone used to call him "Dajjal." One day, during a stopover, I was in my tent when Abdullah bin Sayyad saw me. He came and sat beside me and said, "O Abu Saeed! Do you not see the attitude of the people towards me? No one is willing to talk, befriend, or eat and drink with me, and everyone calls me Dajjal. Whereas, O Abu Saeed! You know that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said that Dajjal will not be able to enter Madinah Munawwarah, and I was born in Madinah Munawwarah. And I have also heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say that Dajjal will have no offspring, whereas I have children. By Allah! Seeing the attitude of the people, my heart desires that I take a rope, go into seclusion, put it around my neck, strangle myself, and be rid of these people. By Allah! I am not Dajjal, but if you wish, I can even tell you his name, his parents' names, and the name of the town from where he will emerge."
Hadith 11750
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: My ummah will be divided into two factions, and a group will emerge between these two, which will be killed by the faction that is closer to the truth among the two.
Hadith 11751
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Saeed (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever dies in such a state that he does not associate anyone with Allah, he will enter Paradise.
Hadith 11752

Abu’l-Wadaak says that once Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) asked me, “Do the Khawarij acknowledge the existence of Dajjal?” I said, “No.” So he said, “The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: I have come at the end of a thousand or even more prophets. Every prophet who was sent to his people warned his nation about Dajjal, and I have been told something about him that no one else was told. Remember! He will be one-eyed, and your Lord is not one-eyed. His right eye will be defective, and let it not be hidden from you that it will be like a lump of phlegm or nasal discharge stuck on a plastered wall, and his left eye will be like a shining star. He will have the ability to speak every language, and he will have with him an image of a lush, green paradise in which water will flow, and a sample of hell which will be black, dark, and smoky.”
Hadith 11753
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Saeed (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the mention of Ibn Sayyad was made in the presence of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), so Hazrat Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said that he thinks that wherever he passes by, everything starts talking to him.

(In this hadith, the word "Fuwaisiqah" is used for the mouse.) The narrator says: I asked about the meaning of Fuwaisiqah, and he replied: It means mouse. I asked: What is the issue with the mouse? He replied: Once the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) woke up and a mouse took the wick of the lamp and climbed onto the roof to set it on fire (since then it has been called Fuwaisiqah).

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the wife of Safwan bin Mu'attal came to the service of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), while we were present there. She said, "O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)! When I perform prayer, my husband Safwan bin Mu'attal beats me, and when I fast, he makes me break it, and he himself does not perform the Fajr prayer until the sun rises." Safwan was also present there. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) asked him about this, so he said, "O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)! As for her saying that when I perform prayer, he beats me, she recites two surahs in one rak'ah, and I forbade her." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "One surah is sufficient for all people." "As for her saying that I make her break her fast, she keeps voluntary fasts, and I am a young man, I cannot be patient." On that day, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "No woman should keep a voluntary fast without her husband's permission." "And as for her saying that I do not perform the Fajr prayer until the sun rises, it is well known among our household that we wake up after the sun has risen." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Whenever you wake up, perform the prayer."

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that once Hazrat Usaid bin Hudair (may Allah be pleased with him) was reciting the Holy Qur'an at night in the enclosure of his camels when suddenly his horse began to startle. The more he recited, the more the horse startled. Hazrat Usaid (may Allah be pleased with him) says that he feared the horse might trample his son Yahya, so he went towards him. Suddenly, he felt a canopy above his head in which there were things like lamps. It ascended towards the sky until it disappeared from his sight. The next day, he presented himself before the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said, "O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)! Last night I was reciting the Holy Qur'an in my enclosure when suddenly my horse began to startle." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Ibn Hudair! You should have continued reciting." He replied, "I continued reciting, but its startling increased." Three times the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said the same. Finally, he said, "Since Yahya was near it, I feared it might trample him, so I went to him. At that time, I saw a canopy in which there were things like lamps. That canopy ascended towards the sky until it disappeared from my sight." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Those were angels who were listening to your recitation. If you had continued reciting, in the morning people would have seen them and nothing would have remained hidden from them."

Hazrat Musa (peace be upon him) said, "O Lord! By Your honor and majesty! If a man were to walk on his face from the day of his birth until the Day of Resurrection, and his hands and feet were cut off, but his abode is this, he would not feel any hardship in it." Then Hazrat Musa (peace be upon him) submitted, "O Lord! Your disbelieving servant has great abundance in this world?" Allah opened a door of Hell and showed it to him and said, "O Musa! I have prepared this for him." Hazrat Musa (peace be upon him) said, "O Lord! By Your honor and majesty! If he were given the world from his birth until the Day of Resurrection, but his abode is this, he would have gained nothing good."
Hadith 11768
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) and Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Whoever takes a bath on Friday, uses a miswak, applies perfume (if available), wears good clothes, then goes out to the mosque, does not step over people's necks, prays as many voluntary prayers as he wishes, and when the Imam comes out, remains silent and does not speak until the prayer is finished, then this will be an expiation for all the sins committed between this Friday and the previous Friday. Hazrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) would also include the next three days and would say that Allah has fixed the reward of every good deed as ten times.

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When the day of Friday comes, the angels sit at the doors of the mosque and record the rewards of those who come in order of their arrival. The reward of some is equal to giving a camel in charity, some to a cow, some to a goat, some to a chicken, some to a sparrow, and some to an egg in charity. Then when the muezzin gives the call to prayer and the imam sits on the pulpit, the records are folded up and the angels enter the mosque to listen to the remembrance.

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that once we were sitting and waiting for the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came from the house of one of his noble wives. We started walking with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). On the way, the sandal of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) broke. Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) stopped and began to mend the sandal, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) went ahead. We also kept walking. When we reached a place, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) stopped and began to wait for Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him). We also stopped. During this, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Among you there will be a man who will fight for the interpretation and explanation of the Holy Qur'an just as I fought for its revelation." Hearing this, we began to look around at each other. At that time, Hazrat Abu Bakr and Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) were also present among us, but the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "It is the one who is mending the sandal." Upon this, we went to give Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) this glad tidings, and it seemed as if he had already heard this himself.
Hadith 11774
A man came to Hazrat Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) and said, "Give me some advice." He replied, "You have requested the same thing that I requested from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). I advise you to fear Allah, for it is the foundation of everything. Make jihad obligatory upon yourself, for it is the monasticism of Islam. And make the remembrance of Allah and the recitation of the Qur'an obligatory upon yourself, for the sky is your soul and the earth is your remembrance." It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that once we were sitting waiting for the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him)... Then the narrator mentioned the entire hadith, and at the end said, "It seemed as if he had also heard this statement."

We wanted to release them for ransom. We said to each other, "Do you do this act even in the presence of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him)?" Therefore, I asked the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) about coitus interruptus. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Do whatever you wish, what Allah has decreed will surely happen, and not every drop of semen produces a child." Then we passed by some pots that were boiling. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked us, "What meat is this?" We replied, "Donkey meat." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked, "Domesticated or wild?" We replied, "Domesticated donkeys." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Turn these pots over." So we turned them over, even though we were hungry at that time and felt the desire to eat. And we were ordered to keep the mouths of the water skins closed.
