It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said regarding Surah Al-Fatiha: "This is Umm al-Qur'an and Umm al-Kitab, and this is the Sab‘ al-Mathani."

In this way, Hazrat Adam (peace be upon him) prevailed over Hazrat Musa (peace be upon him).

The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) replied, "Yes, and I hope that you will be among those people."

Upon hearing this, the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) turned his face away. He came from the right side and said the same thing. The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) again turned his face away. Then he came from the left side and said the same thing. The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) again turned away. But when he confessed for the fourth time, the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Take him away and carry out the punishment of stoning upon him." The noble companions (may Allah be pleased with them) took him away. The noble companions (may Allah be pleased with them) mentioned to the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that when stones struck him, he was running away. The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Then why did you not let him go?"

May Allah have mercy on him. Then Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) came to me, took the bucket, and the bucket became a large bucket in his hand. People were satisfied with it, and I have not seen any outstanding man who could draw water with a bucket better than Umar.

The Muslim, swearing by his statement, said: "By Him Who has chosen Muhammad (peace be upon him) above all the worlds," and) the Jew, swearing, said: "By Him Who has chosen Moses (peace be upon him) above all the worlds." At this, the Muslim became angry and slapped the Jew, saying to him: "You say this while the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) is present among us?" The Jew went to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and related the whole incident. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "On the Day when the Trumpet will be blown, all creatures in the heavens and the earth will fall unconscious except whom Allah wills. Then the Trumpet will be blown again, and they will stand up looking on. I will be the first to regain consciousness, and I will see that Moses is holding onto one of the pillars of the Throne. I do not know whether he was among those who fell unconscious and regained consciousness before me, or whether he was among those whom Allah exempted. And whoever says that I am better than Yunus (Jonah) (peace be upon him), he is lying."

And each time they replied, "Abul Qasim (peace and blessings be upon him), you have conveyed your message (and fulfilled your duty)." In the end, the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Remember! The earth belongs to Allah and His Messenger, and I wish to expel you from this region. Therefore, whoever among you has any wealth, sell it. Otherwise, remember! The earth belongs to Allah and His Messenger."

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that when Khaybar was conquered, a goat was sent as a gift to the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) from the Jews, which was actually poisoned. The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came to know of it. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Gather all the Jews who are here." So they were gathered. The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to them, "I want to ask you something. Will you speak the truth?" They said, "Yes, O Abu al-Qasim (peace and blessings be upon him)." The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked, "Who is your father?" They said, "So-and-so man." The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "You are lying. Your father is so-and-so." They said, "You have spoken the truth." Then the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "If I ask you something, will you answer it correctly?" They agreed and said, "If we lie, you will find out yourself, just as you found out about our father." The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked, "Who are the people of Hell?" They said, "For a while, we will remain in it, then your Ummah (nation)." The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "We will never follow you into Hell." Then the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "If I ask you something, will you answer it correctly?" They agreed. The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked, "Did you put poison in this goat?" They admitted it. The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked, "Why did you do this?" They said, "We wanted that if you (God forbid) are a liar, we would be rid of you, and if you are a true Prophet, then it would not harm you."
