It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man came to the presence of the Prophet and said, "O Messenger of Allah! At what time is giving charity most rewarding?" The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "By your father! You will surely get its answer. The best charity is that which you give while you are healthy, desiring wealth, fearing poverty, and hoping to live longer. Do not delay charity until the soul reaches the throat, and then you begin to say, 'Give this much to so-and-so and that much to so-and-so,' while it has already become the property of so-and-so (the heirs)."

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that once Hazrat Jibreel (peace be upon him) was sitting in the service of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) when suddenly his gaze fell upon the sky and he saw that an angel was descending. He said to the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), "This angel, since the time he was created until now, has never descended to the earth before this moment." When he descended, he said, "O Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), your Lord has sent me to you with this message: He will grant you prophethood by making you an angel, or grant you messengership by making you His servant?" Hazrat Jibreel (peace be upon him) submitted, "O Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), adopt humility before your Lord." The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "No, rather grant me messengership by making me a servant."

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Protect yourselves from fasting continuously with only one pre-dawn meal. The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said this three times. The companions (may Allah be pleased with them) submitted: O Messenger of Allah! You fast continuously in this manner. The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: In this matter, you are not like me. I spend the night in such a state that my Lord Himself feeds and gives me drink. Therefore, you should only take on as much practice as you have the strength to bear.

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), after saying the opening Takbeer (Takbeer-e-Tahreema), used to remain silent for a short while between the Takbeer and the recitation. Once, I submitted in the presence of the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him), "May my parents be sacrificed for you, what do you recite during the silence between the Takbeer and the recitation?" The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) replied: "During that time, I say this supplication: O Allah, create such a distance between me and my sins as You have made between the East and the West. The fragrance of musk will emanate from their sweat. Aloeswood will be burning in their censers. Their wives will be large-eyed houris. All of their manners will be like those of a single person. Abu Zur’ah (may Allah have mercy on him) says that once I entered the house of Marwan bin Hakam with Hazrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him). There, Hazrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) saw some pictures and said: I heard the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: Allah Almighty says, “Who could be a greater wrongdoer than the one who tries to create like Me? Such people should try to create a particle, or a grain, or a barley grain.” After this, Hazrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) asked for water for ablution and performed ablution, and while washing his arms, he went beyond the elbows, and when he washed his feet, he went beyond the ankles up to the shins. I asked, “What is this?” He replied: “This is the limit of adornment.”

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Every newborn child is pricked by Satan, because of which every newborn child cries, but this did not happen with Hazrat Isa (peace be upon him) and his mother Hazrat Maryam (peace be upon her). After this, Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) said: If you wish, you may recite this verse in confirmation of it: "I seek Your protection for Maryam and her offspring from the accursed Satan."

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The superiority of prayer in congregation over prayer offered alone is twenty-five degrees, and the angels of the night and the day gather at the time of Fajr prayer. Hadith 7186
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "A time will soon come when miserliness and stinginess will be poured into the hearts of people. The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) replied: "Killing, killing."
Hadith 7187
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When the Imam says "ghayril maghdubi 'alayhim walad-dallin," then you should say Ameen upon it, because the angels also say Ameen upon it and the Imam also says Ameen. So, whoever's Ameen coincides with the Ameen of the angels, all his past sins will be forgiven.

My wife has given birth to a child of dark complexion." In fact, he wanted to present a request before the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) not to attribute the lineage of the child to himself. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked him, "Do you have camels?" He replied, "Yes." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked, "What is their color?" He said, "Red." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked, "Is there any gray-colored camel among them?" He said, "Yes, there is a gray-colored camel among them." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "How did the gray-colored camel come among the red camels?" He said, "Perhaps some vein has drawn this color." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Then regarding this child, also understand that perhaps some vein has drawn this color."

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The example of a Muslim is like that of a crop; winds constantly blow over it and keep it swaying, and calamities also keep coming upon a Muslim. And if a person intends to commit a sin but does not act upon it, that sin is not recorded in his book of deeds. And if he commits it, then only one sin is written. If he did not act upon it, then that sin is not written.

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: A group from the Children of Israel went missing; no one could find out where they went. I think that they became mice. Do you not observe that if camel’s milk is placed before a mouse, it does not drink it, but if goat’s milk is placed before it, it drinks it?
Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) says that I narrated this hadith to Ka’b al-Ahbar (may Allah have mercy on him), who was a newly converted Jewish scholar. He asked me, “Did you yourself hear this hadith from the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him)?” I replied in the affirmative. He asked me this question several times. Finally, I said to him, “Have you read the Torah?”
Hadith 7198
