Hazrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) and Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him)—one of whom attributed this to the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) and the other to Hazrat Umar (may Allah be pleased with him)—that they forbade the use of pitchers, pitch-covered gourds, and Hantham for drinks.

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When any one of you feels movement between his buttocks during prayer and becomes uncertain whether his ablution has broken or not, he should not leave the prayer until he hears a sound or perceives a smell.

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The five prayers and one Friday (prayer) to the next Friday (prayer) are expiation for the sins committed in between, provided that major sins are avoided.

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to supplicate: O Allah! I seek refuge in You from the trials of life and death and from the evil of the Messiah Dajjal.

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Women who seek khula (divorce) from their husbands without any reason are hypocrites.

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Allah the Exalted has said, "Majesty is My upper garment and Honor is My lower garment. Whoever disputes with Me regarding either of them, I will cast him into Hell."

Suhail bin Abi Salih says that once I was walking with my father when my father looked into a house and his gaze fell upon a woman. He said, "If these people had gouged out my eye, it would have been wasted." Then he said, "Hazrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated this hadith to me, that he heard the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) say: If a person looks into someone’s house without permission and he is struck with a pebble and his eye is gouged out, there is no sin upon the one who struck him."

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Faith has more than seventy branches, the most excellent and highest of which is saying "La ilaha illallah" (There is no god but Allah), and the lightest of them is removing something harmful from the path, and modesty is also a branch of faith.

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Angels do not accompany a caravan in which there is a dog or bells.

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Allah Almighty has said, "O son of Adam! The reward of every good deed is from ten to seven hundred times or even more, but fasting is especially for Me and I Myself will give its reward. Fasting is a shield for protection from Hell. The smell from the mouth of a fasting person is more pleasant to Allah than the fragrance of musk. And if someone behaves ignorantly with you while you are fasting, then say: I am fasting."

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: If people were walking in one valley and the Ansar in another valley, I would walk with the Ansar in their valley. If there had been no migration, I would have been one of the Ansar.

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: There are four things from the time of ignorance which my Ummah will never abandon: finding fault with lineage, wailing over the dead, attributing rain to the stars, and considering disease to be contagious. If a camel gets scabies and it infects a hundred camels, then who infected the first camel with scabies?

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: He saw phlegm stuck towards the Qibla in the mosque, so he turned towards the people and said: What is the matter with one of you that he stands facing his Lord and then spits as well? Would any one of you like that a man stands facing him and spits on his face? When any one of you wants to spit, he should spit to his left or towards his foot, and if there is no opportunity for that, then he should spit in his garment in this way.

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Near the Day of Judgment, the water of the Euphrates River will recede, uncovering a mountain of gold from beneath it. People will begin to fight over it, to the extent that out of every ten men, nine will be killed.

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: When any one of you has offered the two Sunnah (units) before the Fajr prayer, he should lie down on his side.

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When any one of you has finished eating food, he should lick his fingers, for he does not know in which of them the blessing is.

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The blood of one who is killed by an animal is wasted; the blood of one who dies by falling into a well is wasted; the blood of one who dies in a mine is also wasted; and for the buried treasure (found) that comes into someone's possession, one-fifth (khums) is obligatory.

Narrated to us by ‘Affan, narrated to us by Shu‘bah, narrated to us by Muhammad ibn ‘Amr, from Abu Salamah, from Abu Hurayrah, from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, similar to this, except that he said: "al-Raka’iz."

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The earnings of the cupper, the earnings from prostitution, the price of a dog, and the fee given for the mating of a bull have been forbidden.

Abu Uthman Nahdi, may Allah have mercy on him, says that once I stayed as a guest with Hazrat Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, for seven days. I heard Hazrat Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, saying that once the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, distributed some dates among his companions, may Allah be pleased with them. I received seven dates, one of which was spoiled. In my view, it was the best among them all, as I had to chew it with difficulty (and my gums and teeth were moving).

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: As long as a person waits for prayer, he is counted as being in prayer, and the angels continue to supplicate for his forgiveness as long as he remains seated at his place of prayer, and they keep saying: O Allah, forgive him; O Allah, have mercy on him, as long as he does not lose his ablution. The narrator asked about the meaning of "losing ablution," so he replied: Passing wind, whether softly or loudly.

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The people of Paradise will enter Paradise in such a way that their bodies will be free of hair, they will be young, fair-complexioned, with curly hair and eyes with antimony, and they will be thirty-three years old. They will be in the form and appearance of Hazrat Adam (peace be upon him), sixty cubits tall and seven cubits wide.

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that I heard Abul Qasim (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: Fast upon sighting the moon, celebrate Eid upon sighting the moon, and if the moon is not visible and the sky is cloudy, then complete the count to thirty.

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: A Muslim eats with one intestine, and a disbeliever eats with seven intestines.

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man came to the court of the Prophet and said, "O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), at what time is giving charity most rewarding?" The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "The best charity is that which you give while you are healthy, desiring wealth, fearing poverty, and hoping for a long life. Do not delay charity until the soul reaches the throat, and then you begin to say, 'Give this much to so-and-so and that much to so-and-so,' for by then it already belongs to so-and-so (the heirs)."

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: There was a tree causing inconvenience to passersby on the road. A man cut it down and removed it from the path, placing it to the side, and due to this blessed act, he was granted entry into Paradise.

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The noble, son of the noble, son of the noble, son of the noble is Hazrat Yusuf, son of Yaqub, son of Ibrahim, the Friend of Allah (peace be upon them).

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that during the blessed era of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), we had nothing to eat except two black things: dates and water.

Abu Al-Sha’tha’ Muharibi (may Allah have mercy on him) says that once we were sitting in the mosque with Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) when the muezzin gave the call to prayer. A man stood up and left the mosque. Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: This man has disobeyed Abu Al-Qasim (peace and blessings be upon him).

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) delayed the Isha prayer so much that a third of the night was about to pass. Then he came to the mosque and saw the people in scattered groups. The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) became very angry and said: If someone were to offer a man a bone or two hooves in front of the people, they would surely accept it, but they sit in their homes leaving the prayer. I had intended to order a man to go out in search of those who stay in their homes leaving the prayer and set their houses on fire.

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) instructed Hazrat Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her) or Hazrat Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) that she may lengthen the hem of her garment by one cubit.

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever obeys me has indeed obeyed Allah, and whoever disobeys me has disobeyed Allah. Whoever obeys the leader has obeyed me, and whoever disobeys the leader has disobeyed me. And the leader is like a shield, so when he says the takbeer, you should also say the takbeer; when he bows (in ruku‘), you should also bow; when he says "Sami‘ Allahu liman hamidah," you should say "Rabbana lakal hamd," because whoever’s saying coincides with that of the angels, his sins are forgiven. And when he prays sitting, then all of you should also pray sitting.

And he said: When Caesar is destroyed, there will be no Caesar after him, and when Kisra is destroyed, there will be no Kisra after him.

And he said: Seek Allah's protection from five things: from the punishment of Hell, from the grave, from the trials of life and death, and from the tribulation of the False Messiah (Dajjal).

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: If ten of the great Jewish scholars believe in me, then every Jew on the face of the earth would believe in me.

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that recitation is done in every prayer. However, in those prayers in which the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) recited aloud to us, we too will recite aloud to you, and in those in which he recited quietly, we too will recite quietly.

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that a Bedouin came to the service of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) to demand his camel and he was harsh in his demand. The companions (may Allah be pleased with them) intended to beat him, but the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Leave him, for the rightful person can speak." Then the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to the companions (may Allah be pleased with them), "Buy a camel of the same age as his camel and give it to him." The companions (may Allah be pleased with them) searched but could not find a camel of the required age; every camel was older than that. The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Then buy an older camel and give it to him. The best among you is the one who is best in repaying debts."

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever enters Paradise will live in comfort and luxury, will not be distressed, his clothes will not wear out, and his youth will never fade. And in Paradise there will be such things as no eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no human heart has ever imagined.

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: I have been continuously transferred through the best generations of the children of Adam, until I was sent in this era.

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) in a marfu' form that Allah Almighty says: If I take away the light of both beloved eyes of a person and he remains patient and hopes for reward, then I am not pleased with any reward for him except Paradise.
