It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the worst food is the food of a wedding feast to which the rich are invited and the poor are left out, and whoever does not accept the invitation has disobeyed Allah and His Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him).

The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Free a slave." He said, "I do not have a slave." The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Fast for two consecutive months." He said, "I do not have the strength for that." The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Feed sixty needy people." He said, "I do not have that much." The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Sit down." In the meantime, a large basket of dates was brought to the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) from somewhere. The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Take this and feed sixty needy people on your behalf." He submitted, "O Messenger of Allah! From this corner of Madinah to that corner, there is no household more needy than ours." The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) smiled and said, "Go, you and your family eat it."

Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that any prayer in which Surah Al-Fatiha is not recited is incomplete, incomplete, incomplete. Recite Surah Al-Fatiha, because I heard the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say that Allah Almighty has said: I have divided the prayer between Myself and My servant (and My servant will get what he asks for). So when the servant says, "All praise is due to Allah, Lord of the worlds," Allah Almighty says, "My servant has praised Me." When the servant says, "The Most Gracious, the Most Merciful," Allah Almighty says, "My servant has extolled My greatness or glorified Me." When the servant says, "Master of the Day of Judgment," Allah Almighty says, "My servant has entrusted himself to Me." When the servant says, "You alone we worship and You alone we ask for help," Allah Almighty says, "This is between Me and My servant, and My servant will get what he asks for." Then when the servant recites from "Guide us to the straight path" to the end, Allah Almighty says, "This is for My servant, and what you have asked of Me, you will surely receive." In another narration, it is stated: "My servant will receive what he has asked from Me."

Meanwhile, revelation came to the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) to put his hand into the heap of wheat and check. So the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) put his hand into it, and it was wet inside. Upon this, the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "He who deceives is not from among us."

Whoever (falls victim to this deception and) buys such a she-camel or goat, then he has the choice of two things, whichever is better for him: either he keeps the animal with himself (and settles the matter), or he returns the animal to its owner and gives a sa’ (measure) of dates along with it.

And if he offers prayer, all the knots are undone, and he begins the morning energetic and with a satisfied heart. Otherwise, he enters the morning with a foul heart and feeling lazy.

The only difference is that every nation was given the Book before us, while we received the Book later. Then, Friday was appointed by Allah for them, but they differed regarding it. So Allah guided us to it, and now people follow us in this matter. The Jews have the next day (Saturday), and the Christians have the day after that (Sunday).

Thereupon, the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) turned towards the Qiblah and raised both hands. The people said, "The people of the tribe of Daws are destroyed." But the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) prayed three times, "O Allah! Grant guidance to the tribe of Daws and bring them here."
