It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: If a man is declared bankrupt and someone finds his own property with him in its original form, then he has more right to that property than others.

The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "If the fault you mention is present in him, then you have committed backbiting against him, and if the fault you mention is not present in him, then you have slandered him."

The companions (may Allah be pleased with them) submitted, "Has the prayer been shortened?" Upon this, the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) stood up, added two more rak'ahs, and after ending the prayer with salam, performed two prostrations of forgetfulness (sujood as-sahw).

Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) took his hand and brought him to Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her). Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) confirmed the statement of Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him). Then Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Abu Abdur Rahman, by Allah, my dealings in the markets did not prevent me from the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). My only purpose was that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would explain something to me or give me a morsel to eat.
