It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that I did not prohibit fasting on Friday, but by the Lord of the Ka'bah, Muhammad (peace be upon him) prohibited it. By the Lord of the Ka'bah, I did not say that whoever enters the morning in a state of major impurity should not fast, but by the Lord of the Ka'bah! This statement was made by Muhammad (peace be upon him).

The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to me, "Abu Hurairah! Is this your slave?" I replied, "He is free in the way of Allah." Thus, I set him free.

Hazrat Adam (peace be upon him) replied, "O Musa, Allah chose you for His prophethood and to speak with Him directly. Do you blame me for something which Allah had decreed for me even before my creation?" In this way, Hazrat Adam (peace be upon him) prevailed over Hazrat Musa (peace be upon him).

The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "No, I seek forgiveness from Allah." Hearing this, he grabbed the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) from behind and pulled him, causing scratches on his blessed body. The noble companions (may Allah be pleased with them) wanted to catch him and punish him, but the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Leave him." Then the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) gave him something. In fact, these words "No, I seek forgiveness from Allah" were words of oath from the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).
