It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Permission should be sought from a virgin girl for marriage, and consultation should be done with a previously married woman. Someone asked, "O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), (a virgin girl feels shy), so how should her permission be obtained?" The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Her silence is a sign of her consent.

My wife has given birth to a child of dark complexion." In fact, he wanted to present a request before the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) not to establish the lineage of the child himself. The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked him, "Do you have camels?" He said, "Yes." The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked, "What is their color?" He said, "Red." The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked, "Is there any camel among them of gray color?" He said, "Yes, there is a gray-colored camel among them." The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "How did the gray camel come among the red camels?" He said, "Perhaps some vein has drawn this color." The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Then understand the same about this child, that perhaps some vein has drawn this color." And the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) did not permit him to deny the lineage of the child.

He said, "I do not have the strength for that." The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Feed sixty needy people." He said, "I do not have enough for that." The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to him, "Sit down." In the meantime, a large basket full of dates was brought to the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) from somewhere. The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Take this and feed sixty needy people on your behalf." He said, "O Messenger of Allah! From this corner of Madinah to that corner, there is no household more needy than ours." The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) smiled and said, "Go, you and your family eat it."

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Do not observe continuous fasting with only one pre-dawn meal (suhoor) for several days. The companions (may Allah be pleased with them) submitted, "O Messenger of Allah! You observe continuous fasting in this manner?" The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) replied: "I am not like you in this matter. I spend the night in such a state that my Lord Himself feeds and gives me drink." But the people did not refrain from this, so the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) observed continuous fasting with them for two days and two nights. Then the people saw the moon, so the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), expressing his displeasure with the people, said: "If the moon had not appeared, I would have continued the fasting even more."

In the same way, I also met Hazrat Isa (peace be upon him), and describing his appearance, he said: He was a man of medium height, of reddish-white complexion, and it seemed as if he had just come out of the bath. Similarly, I also saw Hazrat Ibrahim (peace be upon him). Among all his children, I resemble him the most. After that, two vessels were brought to me; one of them contained milk and the other contained wine. I was told to choose whichever I wished. I picked up the milk and drank it. I was told: You have been guided to the right nature. If you had picked up the wine, your Ummah would have gone astray.
