مُسْنَدُ عَبْدِ اللّٰهِ بْنِ الْعَبَّاسِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ رَضِيَ اللّٰهُ عَنْهُمَا

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ ، عَنْ مِقْسَمٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ : " خَرَجَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنَ الْمَدِينَةِ صَائِمًا فِي شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ ، فَلَمَّا أَتَى قُدَيْدًا أَفْطَرَ ، فَلَمْ يَزَلْ مُفْطِرًا حَتَّى دَخَلَ مَكَّةَ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) set out from Madinah Munawwarah in the month of Ramadan while fasting. When he reached a place called Qudayd, he broke his fast and did not fast until he reached Makkah Mukarramah.
