٢١٣٩ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال نا ابن علية عن أيوب عن نافع عن ابن عمر قال: كان أذان ابن عمر: اللَّه أكبر، اللَّه أكبر، اللَّه أكبر، شهدت أن لا إله إلا اللَّه، شهدت أن لا إله إلا اللَّه، شهدت أن لا إله إلا اللَّه، ثلاثًا، شهدت أن محمدًا رسول اللَّه شهدت أن محمدًا رسول اللَّه شهدت أن محمدًا رسول اللَّه (ثلاثًا) (١)، حي على الصلاة، ثلاثًا، حي على الفلاح، ثلاثًا، اللَّه أكبر أحسبه قال: لا إله إلا اللَّه (٢).
Nafi' says that the adhan of Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) was: Allahu akbar (Allah is the Greatest), Allahu akbar, Allahu akbar, Shahidtu an la ilaha illallah (I have borne witness that there is no god but Allah), Shahidtu an la ilaha illallah, Shahidtu an la ilaha illallah (three times), Shahidtu anna Muhammadan rasulullah (I have borne witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah), Shahidtu anna Muhammadan rasulullah, Shahidtu anna Muhammadan rasulullah (three times), Hayya 'ala al-salah (Come to the prayer) (three times), Hayya 'ala al-falah (Come to success) (three times), Allahu akbar, and I think he said: La ilaha illallah (There is no god but Allah).
