حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، ثنا مُسَدَّدٌ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ دَاوُدَ، عَنْ أُمِّ دَاوُدَ الْوَابِشِيَّةِ، عَنْ سَلَّامَةَ بِنْتِ الْحُرِّ، قَالَتْ: مَرَّ بِي رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي بُدُوِّ الْإِسْلَامِ وَأَنَا أَرْعَى، فَقَالَ: «يَا سَلَّامَةُ، بِمَ تَشْهَدِينَ؟» قُلْتُ: أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَأَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ اللهِ، فَتَبَسَّمَ ضَاحِكًا
Sayyidah Sallamah bint al-Hurr (may Allah be pleased with her) said: In the early days of Islam, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) passed by me while I was grazing livestock, and he ((peace and blessings be upon him)) said: "O Sallamah, what do you bear witness to?" I said: I bear witness that there is no deity worthy of worship except Allah, and that Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) is the Messenger of Allah. So he ((peace and blessings be upon him)) smiled with delight.
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ حَمَّادٍ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ، وَأَبُو هِشَامٍ الرِّفَاعِيُّ، قَالَا: ثنا وَكِيعٌ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَتْنِي أُمُّ غُرَابٍ، عَنْ عَقِيلَةَ، مَوْلَاةِ أُمِّ الْبَنِينَ، عَنْ سَلَّامَةَ بِنْتِ الْحُرِّ، قَالَتْ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «فِي ثَقِيفٍ كَذَّابٌ، وَمُبِيرٌ»
Sayyidah Sallamah bint al-Hurr (may Allah be pleased with her) said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "In the tribe of Thaqif there will be a great liar and a destroyer."
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ، وَعُبَيْدُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ، قَالَا: ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنِ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، قَالَ: ثنا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، قَالَ: ثنا وَكِيعُ بْنُ الْجَرَّاحِ، حَدَّثَتْنَا أُمُّ غُرَابٍ، عَنِ امْرَأَةٍ يُقَالُ لَهَا: عَقِيلَةُ، عَنْ سَلَامَةَ بِنْتِ الْحُرِّ، أُخْتِ خَرْشَةَ بِنْتِ الْحُرِّ، قَالَتْ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «يَأْتِي عَلَى النَّاسِ زَمَانٌ يَقُومُونَ سَاعَةً لَا يَجِدُونَ إِمَامًا يُصَلِّي لَهُمْ»
Sayyidah Sallamah bint al-Hurr (may Allah be pleased with her), the sister of Kharashah bint al-Hurr, said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "A time will come upon the people when they will stand for a while (for the prayer) but will not find an imam to lead them in prayer."
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْمُعَلَّى الدِّمَشْقِيُّ، ثنا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ مَعِينٍ، قَالَا: ثنا مَرْوَانُ بْنُ مُعَاوِيَةَ الْفَزَارِيُّ، عَنْ طَلْحَةَ، عَنْ أُمِّ غُرَابٍ، قَالَتْ: أَخْبَرَتْنِي مَوْلَاةٌ لِبَنِي فَزَارَةَ يُقَالُ لَهَا عَقِيلَةُ، أَوْ عُقَيْلَةُ، عَنْ سَلَامَةَ بِنْتِ الْحُرِّ قَالَتْ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «إِنَّ مِنْ أَشْرَاطِ السَّاعَةِ أَنْ يَتَدَافَعَ أَهْلُ الْمَسْجِدِ لَا يَجِدُونَ أَحَدًا يُصَلِّي لَهُمْ»
Sayyidah Sallamah bint al-Hurr (may Allah be pleased with her) said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Among the signs of the Hour is that the people of the mosque will push one another forward (to lead the prayer), and they will not find anyone to lead them in prayer."
