ميمونة بنت الحارث زوج النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم " وهي خالة ابن عباس رضي الله عنهما "
Maymunah bint al-Harith (may Allah be pleased with her), wife of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) (she was the maternal aunt of Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both)

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي أُسَامَةَ، ثنا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ أَبِي مَنِيعٍ الرُّصَافِيُّ، ثنا جَدِّي عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ زِيَادٍ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، قَالَ: «مَيْمُونَةُ بِنْتُ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ حَزْنِ بْنِ بُجَيْرِ بْنِ الْهَرَمِ بْنِ رُوَيْبَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ هِلَالِ بْنِ عَامِرِ بْنِ صَعْصَعَةَ، وَهِيَ الَّتِي وَهَبَتْ نَفْسَهَا لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ»
Al-Zuhri (may Allah have mercy on him) said: Maymunah bint al-Harith bin Hazn bin Bujayr bin al-Haram bin Ruwaybah bin Abdullah bin Hilal bin Amir bin Sa'sa'ah (may Allah be pleased with her), and she is the one who gave herself to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الصَّائِغُ الْمَكِّيُّ، ثنا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ كَاسِبٍ، قَالَ: وَحَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْأُمَوِيُّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي لَبِيدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ: «وَلَّتْ مَيْمُونَةُ أَمْرَهَا أُمَّ الْفَضْلِ وَوَلَّتْ أُمُّ الْفَضْلِ الْعَبَّاسَ فَزَوَّجَهَا مِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ»
Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: Sayyidah Maymunah (may Allah be pleased with her) entrusted her affair to Umm al-Fadl, and Umm al-Fadl entrusted it to Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him), and he married her to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him).
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحِيمِ الْبَرْقِيُّ، ثنا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ هِشَامٍ، ثنا زِيَادُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ، قَالَ: «مَاتَتْ مَيْمُونَةُ زَوْجُ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَامَ الْحِرَّةِ سَنَةَ ثَلَاثٍ وَسِتِّينَ»
Muhammad bin Ishaq (may Allah have mercy on him) said: Sayyidah Maymunah (may Allah be pleased with her), the wife of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), died in the year of al-Harrah, that is, the year 63 AH.
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، ثنا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ، ثنا عُقْبَةُ بْنُ وَهْبِ بْنِ عُقْبَةَ الْبَكَّائِيُّ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي يَزِيدُ بْنُ الْأَصَمِّ، قَالَ: «رَأَيْتُ أُمَّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ مَيْمُونَةَ تَحْلِقُ رَأْسَهَا بَعْدَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ» . فَقُلْتُ لِيَزِيدَ بْنِ الْأَصَمِّ، قَالَ: «أَرَاهَا تَتَبَذَّلُ»
Yazid bin al-Asamm said: "I saw the Mother of the Believers Maymunah (may Allah be pleased with her) shaving her head after the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)." I asked Yazid bin al-Asamm (the reason), and he said: "I think she was adopting simplicity."
