حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ، ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ثنا سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ نَبْهَانَ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ: «إِذَا كَانَ لِإِحْدَاكُنَّ مُكَاتَبٌ، وَكَانَ عِنْدَهُ مَا يُؤَدِّي فَلْتَحْتَجِبْ مِنْهُ» .
It is narrated from Sayyidah Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When one of you (women) has a mukatab slave, and he has with him (the remainder) that he is to pay, let her observe hijab from him."
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ عُثْمَانَ، ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ، أَنَا نَافِعٌ، عَنِ ابْنِ يَزِيدَ، عَنْ عُقَيْلٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ نَبْهَانَ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ، قَالَتْ: " كُنْتُ عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَعِنْدَهُ مَيْمُونَةُ فَأَقْبَلَ ابْنُ أُمِّ مَكْتُومٍ الْحَدِيثَ
Sayyidah Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) said: I was with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and Maymunah (may Allah be pleased with her) was also with him (peace and blessings be upon him), when Ibn Umm Maktum (may Allah be pleased with him) came. Then the narrator narrated the rest of the hadith in full.
