حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ، ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ثنا حُمَيْدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ زُهَيْرٍ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ، عَنْ مِقْسَمٍ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ، قَالَتْ: كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ «يُوتِرُ بِتِسْعٍ أَوْ عَشْرٍ لَا يَفْصِلُ بَيْنَهُنَّ بِتَسْلِيمٍ، وَلَا كَلَامٍ»
Sayyidah Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) said: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to pray the witr with nine or ten rak'ahs, not separating between them with a salam or with speech.
