حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدٌ، ثنا أَبُو بَكْرٍ، ثنا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ، عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي عُمَرُ بْنُ كَثِيرِ بْنِ أَفْلَحَ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ سَفِينَةَ، يَذْكُرُ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أُمَّ سَلَمَةَ، تَقُولُ: سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «مَا مِنْ عَبْدٍ تُصِيبُهُ مُصِيبَةٌ» ، الْحَدِيثَ وَهُوَ فِي كِتَابِ الْمَوْتِ
Sayyidah Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) said: I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "There is no servant who is struck by a calamity", and then the narrator narrated the rest of the hadith in full; it is mentioned in the Book of Death (Kitab al-Mawt).
حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدٌ، ثنا أَبُو بَكْرٍ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ نُمَيْرٍ، عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ كَثِيرِ بْنِ أَفْلَحَ، عَنِ ابْنِ سَفِينَةَ مَوْلَى أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ قَالَتْ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «مَا مِنْ عَبْدٍ يُصَابُ بِمُصِيبَةٍ» الْحَدِيثَ
Sayyidah Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "There is no servant who is afflicted with a calamity", and then the narrator narrated the rest of the hadith in full.
