حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، ثنا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ح، وَحَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ، ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، قَالَا: ثنا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، ثنا هُرَيْمُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ مَوْلَى أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ، قَالَتْ: قَالَ لِي رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " قُولِي عِنْدَ أَذَانِ الْمَغْرِبِ: اللهُمَّ عِنْدَ إِقْبَالِ لَيْلِكَ، وَإِدْبَارِ نَهَارِكَ، وَأَصْوَاتِ دُعَائِكَ، وَحُضُورِ صَلَوَاتِكَ اغْفِرْ لِي "، وَكَانَتْ إِذَا تَعَارَتْ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ، تَقُولُ: رَبِّ اغْفِرْ وَارْحَمْ وَاهْدِ السَّبِيلَ الْأَقْوَمَ.
It is narrated from Sayyidah Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her); she said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said to me: "At the time of the adhan of Maghrib, say: 'Allahumma 'inda iqbali laylika wa idbari naharika wa aswati du'atika wa huduri salawatika ighfir li' (O Allah, at the coming of Your night, the departing of Your day, the voices of those who call to You and the arrival of Your prayers, forgive me)." And when she woke during the night, she would say: 'Rabbi ighfir warham wahdi al-sabil al-aqwam' (My Lord, forgive, have mercy, and guide to the most upright path).
حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ، ثنا يَحْيَى، ثنا ابْنُ فُضَيْلٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ حُمَيْضَةَ بِنْتِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهَا أَبِي كَثِيرٍ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَحْوَهُ
A similar hadith is also narrated from Sayyidah Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her).
