حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ هَارُونَ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَسْمَاءَ، ثنا جُوَيْرِيَةُ بْنُ أَسْمَاءَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنْ صَفِيَّةَ بِنْتِ أَبِي عُبَيْدٍ، عَنْ حَفْصَةَ، أَوْ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، أَوْ كِلْتَاهُمَا، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «لَا يَحِلُّ لِامْرَأَةٍ تُؤْمِنُ بِاللهِ وَرَسُولِهِ تُحِدُّ عَلَى مَيِّتٍ فَوْقَ ثَلَاثَةِ أَيَّامٍ إِلَّا عَلَى زَوْجِهَا»
Safiyyah bint Abi Ubayd narrates; it is narrated from Hafsah (may Allah be pleased with her) or Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her), or both, that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "It is not permissible for a woman who believes in Allah and His Messenger to mourn for a deceased person for more than three days, except for her husband."
حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ، ثنا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ثنا عَبْدَةُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنْ صَفِيَّةَ بِنْتِ أَبِي عُبَيْدٍ، عَنْ حَفْصَةَ، قَالَتْ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «لَا يَحِلُّ لِامْرَأَةٍ تُؤْمِنُ بِاللهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ، أَوْ تُؤْمِنُ بِاللهِ وَرَسُولِهِ أَنْ تُحِدَّ عَلَى مَيِّتٍ فَوْقَ ثَلَاثَةِ أَيَّامٍ إِلَّا عَلَى زَوْجِهَا»
Safiyyah bint Abi Ubayd narrates that Hafsah (may Allah be pleased with her) said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "It is not permissible for a woman who believes in Allah and the Last Day, or believes in Allah and His Messenger, to mourn for a deceased person for more than three days, except for her husband."
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَلِيفَةَ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَهَّابِ الْحَجَبِيُّ، ثنا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ الثَّقَفِيُّ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ يَحْيَى بْنَ سَعِيدٍ يُحَدِّثُ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا يُوسُفُ الْقَاضِي، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ الْمُقَدَّمِيُّ، ثنا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنْ صَفِيَّةَ بِنْتِ أَبِي عُبَيْدٍ، عَنْ حَفْصَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «لَا يَحِلُّ لِامْرَأَةٍ تُؤْمِنُ بِاللهِ وَرَسُولِهِ أَنْ تُحِدَّ فَوْقَ ثَلَاثٍ إِلَّا عَلَى زَوْجٍ» .
Safiyyah bint Abi Ubayd narrates, through Hafsah (may Allah be pleased with her), from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "It is not permissible for a woman who believes in Allah and His Messenger to mourn for more than three days, except for a husband."
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَلِيفَةَ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَهَّابِ الْحَجَبِيُّ، ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، وَعَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ الثَّقَفِيُّ، عَنْ أَيُّوبِ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنْ صَفِيَّةَ بِنْتِ أَبِي عُبَيْدٍ، عَنْ بَعْضِ أَزْوَاجِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَتْ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «لَا يَحِلُّ لِامْرَأَةٍ» فَذَكَرَ مِثْلَهُ
Sayyidah Safiyyah bint Abi Ubayd (may Allah have mercy on her) narrates from one of the wives of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "It is not permissible for a woman", then the narrator mentioned a hadith similar to it.
