حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، ثنا مُسَدَّدٌ، ثنا خَالِدٌ، ثنا عَطَاءُ بْنُ السَّائِبِ، عَنْ يَعْلَى بْنِ مُرَّةَ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «لَا تُمَثِّلُوا بِعِبَادِ اللهِ»
Sayyiduna Ya'la bin Murrah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: "Do not mutilate the servants of Allah (that is, do not disfigure them by cutting off their limbs)."
حَدَّثَنَا الْمِقْدَامُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ، ثنا أَسَدُ بْنُ مُوسَى، ثنا ورْقَاءُ بْنُ عُمَرَ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ، عَنْ غَيْرِ وَاحِدٍ، مِنْ ثَقِيفٍ، عَنْ يَعْلَى بْنِ مُرَّةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «لَا تُمَثِّلُوا بِعِبَادِ اللهِ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ya'la bin Murrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Do not mutilate the servants of Allah."
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ رَاهَوَيْهِ، ثنا أَبِي، ثنا جَرِيرٌ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ، عَنْ أُنَاسٍ، مِنْ قَوْمِهِ، عَنْ يَعْلَى بْنِ مُرَّةَ: أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: «لَا تُمَثِّلُوا بِعِبَادِي»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ya'la bin Murrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Do not mutilate My servants."
