Sayyiduna Mu'adh bin Jabal (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) passed by a man who was saying: O Allah, I ask You for patience. He said: "You have asked Allah for affliction; ask Him for well-being." Then he passed by another man who was saying: O Possessor of Majesty and Honour! He said: "Your supplication has been answered." Then he passed by another man who was saying: O Allah, I ask You for the completion of Your blessing. He said: "Do you know what the completion of blessing is?" He said: It is a supplication I have made, through which I hope for good. He said: "Part of the completion of blessing is being protected from the Fire and entering Paradise."
