حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ، حَدَّثَنِي عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ، ثنا أَبِي، ثنا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، سَمِعَ مُطَرِّفًا، يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ فِي لَيْلَةِ الْقَدْرِ: «سَبْعٌ وَعِشْرُونَ»
Mutarrif (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates from Sayyiduna Mu'awiyah bin Abi Sufyan (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said concerning Laylat al-Qadr: "The twenty-seventh night."
حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْوَاسِطِيُّ، ثنا وَهْبُ بْنُ بَقِيَّةَ، أَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ الْحَرَّانِيِّ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الشِّخِّيرِ، عَنْ مُطَرِّفٍ، عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «الْتَمِسُوا لَيْلَةَ الْقَدْرِ لَيْلَةَ سَبْعٍ وَعِشْرِينَ»
Mutarrif (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates from Sayyiduna Mu'awiyah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Seek Laylat al-Qadr on the twenty-seventh night."
