حَدَّثَنَا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ الْأَسْفَاطِيُّ، ثنا أَبُو عَوْنٍ الزِّيَادِيُّ، ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ كَثِيرِ بْنِ أَفْلَحَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ كَيْسَانَ، عَنْ أبِيهِ، قَالَ: «رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خَرَجَ مِنْ شِعْبِ الْمَطَابِخِ حَتَّى أَتَى بِئْرَ الصَّلَاةِ، وَهُوَ فِي إِزَارٍ مُلْتَحِفٌ بِهِ، فَصَلَّى رَكْعَتَيِ الظُّهْرِ أَوِ الْعَصْرِ وَخَالَفَ بَيْنَ طَرَفَيْهِ»
Sayyiduna Kaysan (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I saw the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) come out of Shi'b al-Matabikh until he reached Bi'r al-Salah. He (peace and blessings be upon him) was wrapped in a waist-wrapper, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) prayed two rak'ahs of Zuhr or Asr, crossing its two ends over to opposite sides.
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الشَّافِعِيُّ، حَدَّثَنِي عَمِّي إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَنْظَلَةَ، عَنْ مَعْرُوفِ بْنِ مُشْكَانَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ كَيْسَانَ، عَنْ أبِيهِ، قَالَ: «رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُصَلِّي بَيْنَ بِبِئْرِ الْعُلْيَا فِي ثَوْبٍ»
Sayyiduna Kaysan (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) praying near Bi'r al-Ulya in a single garment.
