حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، ثنا عَفَّانُ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ، ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، قَالُوا: ثنا عُمَرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْمُقَدَّمِيُّ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ الْحَجَّاجَ بْنَ أَرْطَأَةَ، يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ مَكْحُولٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مُحَيْرِيزٍ قَالَ: سَأَلْتُ فَضَالَةَ بْنَ عُبَيْدٍ وَكَانَ مِمَّنْ بَايَعَ تَحْتَ الشَّجَرَةِ، فَسَأَلْتُهُ عَنْ تَعْلِيقِ يَدِ السَّارِقِ مِنَ السُّنَّةِ هُوَ؟ قَالَ: «أُتِيَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِسَارِقٍ، فَأَمَرَ فَقُطِعَتْ يَدَهُ ثُمَّ أَمَرَ بِهَا فَعُلِّقَتْ فِي عُنُقِهِ»
Abdullah bin Muhayriz narrated: I asked Sayyiduna Fadalah bin Ubayd (may Allah be pleased with him), who was among those who took part in the Pledge of Ridwan (the pledge under the tree): Is cutting off the thief's hand and hanging it around his neck part of the Sunnah? He said: A thief was brought to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and he gave the order and his hand was cut off; then he gave the order and it was hung around his neck.
حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ يُونُسَ الْأَهْوَازِيُّ، ثنا حَفْصُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الرَّبَالِيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُمَرَ الْوَاقِدِيُّ، ثنا حَارِثَةُ بْنُ أَبِي عِمْرَانَ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ حَبَّانَ، عَنِ ابْنِ مُحَيْرِيزٍ، عَنْ فَضَالَةَ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ قَالَ: «كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا نَزَلَ مَنْزِلًا فِي سَفَرٍ أَوْ دَخَلَ بَيْتَهُ لَمْ يَجْلِسْ حَتَّى يَرْكَعَ رَكْعَتَيْنِ»
Sayyiduna Fadalah bin Ubayd (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: Whenever the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) halted at a stopping place on a journey or entered his house, he would not sit down without first praying two rak'ahs.
