حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ زُهَيْرٍ التُّسْتَرِيُّ، ثنا نَصْرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، أنا عَبْدُ الْأَعْلَى، ثنا خَالِدٌ الْحَذَّاءُ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي الْمُهَلَّبِ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ، أَنَّ نَاقَةَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فُقِدَتْ، وَإِذَا امْرَأَةٌ تُرِيدُ أَنْ تَنْحَرَهَا، فَقَالُوا لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَتْ: إِنِّي كُنْتُ نَذَرْتُ أَنْ أَنْحَرَهَا، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «لَيْسَ عَلَى أَحَدٍ نَذْرٌ فِيمَا لَا يَمْلِكُ»
It is reported from Sayyiduna Imran bin Husayn (may Allah be pleased with him) that the she-camel of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) had gone missing, and then it turned out that a woman wanted to slaughter it. The people informed the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and she said: I had vowed that I would slaughter it. the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "No one is bound to fulfil a vow concerning something he does not own."
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، ثنا مَحْبُوبُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ، ثنا خَالِدٌ الْحَذَّاءُ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي الْمُهَلَّبِ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَمَّا بَلَغَهُ وَفَاةُ النَّجَاشِيِّ قَالَ: «إِنَّ أَخَاكُمُ النَّجَاشِيُّ قَدْ مَاتَ فَصَلُّوا عَلَيْهِ» فَقَامَ فَصَلَّى عَلَيْهِ وَالنَّاسُ خَلْفَهُ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Imran bin Husayn (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the news of al-Najashi's death reached the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), he said: "Your brother al-Najashi has died, so offer the funeral prayer for him." So he (peace and blessings be upon him) stood, and the people, standing behind him (peace and blessings be upon him), prayed over him.
