حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ، ثنا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ، ثنا مَسْلَمَةُ بْنُ عُلَيٍّ، ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ أَبِي عَبْلَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَوْفِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «إِنَّ بَيْنَ يَدَيِ السَّاعَةِ سِنِينَ خَوَادِعَ، يُتَّهَمُ فِيهَا الْأَمِينُ، وَيُؤْتَمَنُ فِيهَا الْخَائِنُ، وَيُكَذَّبُ فِيهَا الصَّادِقُ، وَيُصَدِّقُ فِيهَا الْكَاذِبُ، وَيَتَكَلَّمُ فِي أَمْرِ النَّاسِ الرُّوَيْبِضَةُ» قِيلَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، وَمَا الرُّوَيْبِضَةُ؟ قَالَ: «السَّفِيهُ يَنْطِقُ فِي أَمْرِ الْعَامَّةِ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Awf bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Before the Hour there will be years of deception, in which the trustworthy will be accused, the treacherous will be trusted, the truthful will be belied, the liar will be believed, and the 'Ruwaybidah' will speak about the affairs of the people." It was said: O Messenger of Allah, what is the Ruwaybidah? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The foolish person who speaks about the affairs of the general public."
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَهَّابِ بْنِ نَجْدَةَ الْحَوْطِيُّ، ثنا أَبِي، ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ أَبِي عَبْلَةَ، عَنْ عَوْفِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِثْلَهُ
A similar hadith is also narrated from Sayyiduna Awf bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ، وَالْقَاسِمُ بْنُ زَكَرِيَّا الْمُطَرِّزُ، وَأَحْمَدُ بْنُ زُهَيْرٍ التُّسْتَرِيُّ، قَالُوا: ثنا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ، ثنا يُونُسُ بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ أَبِي عَبْلَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَوْفِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «يَكُونُ أَمَامَ الدَّجَّالِ سِنُونَ خَوَادِعٌ، يَكْثُرُ فِيهَا الْمَطَرُ، وَيَقِلُّ فِيهَا النَّبْتُ، وَيُكَذَّبُ فِيهَا الصَّادِقُ، وَيُصَدِّقُ فِيهَا الْكَاذِبُ، وَيُؤْتَمَنُ فِيهَا الْخَائِنُ، وَيُخَوَّنُ فِيهَا الْأَمِينُ، وتَنْطِقُ فِيهَا الرُّوَيْبِضَةُ» قِيلَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، وَمَا الرُّوَيْبِضَةُ؟ قَالَ: «مَنْ لَا يُؤْبَهُ لَهُ»
Sayyiduna Awf bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Before the Dajjal there will be years of deception, in which rain will be abundant and vegetation scarce; in them the truthful will be belied and the liar will be believed, the treacherous will be trusted and the trustworthy will be called treacherous, and in them the 'Ruwaybidah' will speak." It was said: O Messenger of Allah, what is the Ruwaybidah? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The one who is given no importance."
