حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ، ثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ، ثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، قَالَا: ثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ أُسَامَةَ بْنِ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ مُعَاذِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ حَبِيبٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ، عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ قَالَ: سَأَلْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنِ الْجَذَعِ مِنَ الضَّأْنِ فَقَالَ: «ضَحِّ بِهِ»
Sayyiduna Uqbah bin Amir (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I asked the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) about a jadha'ah (young animal) of sheep, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Sacrifice it."
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الرَّازِيُّ، ثَنَا أَبُو مُصْعَبٍ، ثَنَا عَطَّافُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ حَرْمَلَةَ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ، عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «إِنَّهَا سَيَكُونُ بَعْدِي أُمَرَاءُ يُصَلُّونَ بِكُمُ الصَّلَاةَ، فَإِنْ أَتَمُّوا رُكُوعَهَا وَسُجُودَهَا فَلَكُمْ وَلَهُمْ، وَإِنِ انْتَقَصُوا مِنْهَا فَلَكُمْ وَعَلَيْهِمْ»
Sayyiduna Uqbah bin Amir (may Allah be pleased with him) said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "After me there will be rulers who will lead you in prayer. If they complete its bowing and prostration, then the reward is for both you and them; and if they fall short in it, then the reward is for you and the burden is upon them."
