Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 15026 — the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: After me

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الرَّازِيُّ، ثَنَا أَبُو مُصْعَبٍ، ثَنَا عَطَّافُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ حَرْمَلَةَ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ، عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «إِنَّهَا سَيَكُونُ بَعْدِي أُمَرَاءُ يُصَلُّونَ بِكُمُ الصَّلَاةَ، فَإِنْ أَتَمُّوا رُكُوعَهَا وَسُجُودَهَا فَلَكُمْ وَلَهُمْ، وَإِنِ انْتَقَصُوا مِنْهَا فَلَكُمْ وَعَلَيْهِمْ»
Sayyiduna Uqbah bin Amir (may Allah be pleased with him) said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "After me there will be rulers who will lead you in prayer. If they complete its bowing and prostration, then the reward is for both you and them; and if they fall short in it, then the reward is for you and the burden is upon them."
