Sayyiduna Uqbah bin Amir (may Allah be pleased with him) said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Before the Hour, a black cloud like a shield will appear before you from the west; it will keep rising in the sky and spreading until it covers the whole sky. Then a caller will call out: O people! So they will turn to one another (and say): Did you hear? Some of them will say: Yes. Then a call will be made a second time: O people! The command of Allah has come, so do not seek to hasten it." The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "By the One in whose hand is my soul! Two men will spread out a garment but will not be able to fold it, a man will leave his water trough but will never water anything from it, and a man will milk his she-camel but will never be able to drink it."
