Abd al-Rahman bin Hujayrah from Uqbah (may Allah be pleased with him)
Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 14972 — the Messenger of Allah ﷺ would reach
حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ، ثَنَا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ يَحْيَى، كَاتِبُ الْعُمَرِيِّ، ثَنَا رِشْدِينُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْمُرَادِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي مَرْوَانَ، عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ عَلْقَمَةَ، عَنْ بَكْرِ بْنِ سَوَادَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ حُجَيْرَةَ، عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ، وَفَضَالَةَ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يُصْبِحُ جُنُبًا، ثُمَّ يَسْتَحِمُّ فَيَصُومُ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Uqbah bin Amir and Sayyiduna Fadalah bin Ubayd (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) would reach the morning in a state of major ritual impurity (janabah), then he would take a ritual bath (ghusl) and fast.
