حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، ثَنَا عَارِمٌ أَبُو النُّعْمَانِ، ثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَبَانَ بْنِ تَغْلِبَ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ أَبِي عَمْرٍو الشَّيْبَانِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي مَسْعُودٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «مَنْ دَلَّ عَلَى خَيْرٍ فَلَهُ مِثْلُ أَجْرِ مَنْ فَعَلَهُ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever guides to something good will have a reward like that of the one who does it."
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ التَّمَّارُ، ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ، ثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ أَبِي عَمْرٍو الشَّيْبَانِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي مَسْعُودٍ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ قَالَ: جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ: إِنِّي أُبْدِعَ بِي فَاحْمِلْنِي فَقَالَ: «لَا أَجِدُ مَا أَحْمِلُكَ عَلَيْهِ، وَلَكِنِ ائْتِ فُلَانًا فَلَعَلَّهُ يَحْمِلُكَ» فَأَتَاهُ فَحَمَلَهُ، فَأَتَى رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَأَخْبَرَهُ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَنْ دَلَّ عَلَى خَيْرٍ فَلَهُ مِثْلُ أَجْرِ فَاعِلِهِ»
Sayyiduna Abu Mas'ud al-Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him) said: A man came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: "My mount has broken down on the way, so provide me with a mount." He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I do not have a mount to give you, but go to so-and-so; perhaps he will give you a mount." He went to him and he gave him a mount. Then he came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and informed him, and the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever guides to something good will have a reward like that of the one who does it."
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّبَرِيُّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ أَبِي عَمْرٍو الشَّيْبَانِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي مَسْعُودٍ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ، قَالَ: جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ: إنِّي أُبْدِعُ بِي فَاحْمِلْنِي، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَا عِنْدِي شَيْءٌ وَلَكِنِ ائْتِ فُلَانًا فَسَلْهُ فَلَعَلَّهُ أَنْ يَحْمِلَكَ» فَذَهَبَ إِلَيْهِ فَحَمَلَهُ، ثُمَّ مَرَّ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَأَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّهُ قَدْ حَمَلَهُ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَنْ دَلَّ عَلَى خَيْرٍ فَلَهُ مِثْلُ أَجْرِ فَاعِلِهِ»
Sayyiduna Abu Mas'ud al-Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him) said: A man came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: "My mount has been left behind on the way, so provide me with a mount." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I have nothing, but go to so-and-so and ask him; perhaps he will give you a mount." He went to him and he gave him a mount. Then he passed by the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and told him that he had given him a mount, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever guides to something good will have a reward like that of the one who does it."
حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، ثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، ثَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ يُونُسَ، ثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ، عَنْ أَبِي عَمْرٍو الشَّيْبَانِيِّ، عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَمْرٍو أَبِي مَسْعُودٍ، أَنَّ رَجُلًا أَتَى رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالََ: احْمِلْنِي، فَقَالَ: «مَا أَجِدُ مَا أَحْمِلُكَ وَلَكِنِ ائْتِ فُلَانًا فَلَعَلَّهُ أَنْ يَحْمِلَكَ» فَأَتَاهُ فَحَمَلَهُ فَذَكَرَ ذَلِكَ لَهُ، فَقَالَ: «مَنْ دَلَّ عَلَى خَيْرٍ فَلَهُ مِثْلُ أَجْرِ فَاعِلِهِ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Uqbah bin Amr Abu Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: "Provide me with a mount." He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I do not have a mount to give you, but go to so-and-so; perhaps he will give you a mount." He went to him and he gave him a mount. Then he told him (peace and blessings be upon him) about it, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever guides to something good will have a reward like that of the one who does it."
حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ، ثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ح، وَحَدَّثَنَا بَكْرُ بْنُ سَهْلٍ، ثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ قَالَا: ثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ أَبِي عَمْرٍو الشَّيْبَانِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي مَسْعُودٍ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ قَالَ: أَتَى النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَجُلٌ فَقَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، إنِّي أُبْدِعَ بِي فَاحْمِلْنِي - يَعْنِي قُطِعَ بِي فَاحْمِلْنِي - فَقَالَ: «لَيْسَ عِنْدِي شَيْءٌ» قَالَ رَجُلٌ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، أَنَا أَدُلُّهُ عَلَى مَنْ يَحْمِلُهُ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَنْ دَلَّ عَلَى خَيْرٍ فَلَهُ مِثْلُ أَجْرِ فَاعِلِهِ»
Sayyiduna Abu Mas'ud al-Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him) said: A man came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: "O Messenger of Allah, my mount has been left behind on the way, so provide me with a mount" - meaning: I am stranded on the way. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I have nothing." Another man said: "O Messenger of Allah, I will guide him to someone who can give him a mount." So the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever guides to something good will have a reward like that of the one who does it."
حَدَّثَنَا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ يَحْيَى السَّاجِيُّ، ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ زُنْبُورٍ، ح، وَحَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ سَلْمٍ الرَّازِيُّ، ثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ طَلْحَةَ الْيَرْبُوعِيُّ قَالَا: ثَنَا فُضَيْلُ بْنُ عِيَاضٍ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ أَبِي عَمْرٍو الشَّيْبَانِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي مَسْعُودٍ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ قَالَ: جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ: احْمِلْنِي، فَقَالَ: «مَا عِنْدِي مَا أَحْمِلُكَ وَلَكِنِ ائْتِ فُلَانًا، فَإِنَّ عِنْدَهُ مَا يَحْمِلُكُ» فَأَتَاهُ فَحَمَلَهُ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَنْ دَلَّ عَلَى خَيْرٍ فَهُوَ كَفَاعِلِهِ»

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The one who guides to good is like the one who does it."

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) with a she-camel fitted with a nose-rein and said: "O Messenger of Allah, this is in the path of Allah." The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "In return for it you will have seven hundred she-camels fitted with nose-reins on the Day of Resurrection."
حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ، ثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ثَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ أَبِي عَمْرٍو الشَّيْبَانِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ: جَاءَ رَجُلٌ بِنَاقَةٍ مَخْطُومَةٍ فَقَالَ: هَذِهِ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «لَكَ بِهَا سَبْعُمِائَةِ نَاقَةٍ كُلُّهَا مَخْطُومَةٍ»
Sayyiduna Abu Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) said: A man brought a she-camel fitted with a nose-rein and said: "This is in the path of Allah." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "In return for it you will have seven hundred she-camels, all of them fitted with nose-reins."

حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عُمَرَ الضَّبِّيُّ، ثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ مَرْزُوقٍ، أَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ أَبِي عَمْرٍو الشَّيْبَانِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ: جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِنَاقَةٍ مَخْطُومَةٍ فَقَالَ: هَذِهِ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «أَمَا إِنَّ لَكَ بِهَا مِائَةَ نَاقَةٍ فِي الْجَنَّةِ»
Sayyiduna Abu Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) said: A man came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) with a she-camel fitted with a nose-rein and said: "This is in the path of Allah." The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Know that in return for it you will have a hundred she-camels in Paradise."

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The one whose counsel is sought is entrusted (and must be trustworthy)."
حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ، ثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ثَنَا الْأَسْوَدُ بْنَ عَامِرٍ شَاذَانُ ح، وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدُوسِ بْنِ كَامِلٍ، ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ نُمَيْرٍ، ثَنَا طَلْقُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ قَالَا: ثَنَا شَرِيكٌ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ أَبِي عَمْرٍو الشَّيْبَانِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «الْمُسْتَشَارُ مُؤْتَمَنٌ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The one whose counsel is sought is entrusted (and must be trustworthy)."
حَدَّثَنَا حَاجِبُ بْنُ أركين الْفَرْغَانِيُّ، ثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّوْرَقِيُّ، ثَنَا طَلْقُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ، ثَنَا شَرِيكٌ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ أَبِي عَمْرٍو الشَّيْبَانِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي مَسْعُودٍ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «كُلُّ مَعْرُوفٍ صَدَقَةٌ»
Sayyiduna Abu Mas'ud al-Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him) said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Every good deed is charity (sadaqah)."
