حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، ثَنَا أَبُو غَسَّانَ مَالِكُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ ح، وَحَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ، ثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ، ثَنَا مِنْجَابُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ، وَيَحْيَى الْحِمَّانِيُّ قَالُوا: ثَنَا أَبُو الْأَحْوَصِ، ثَنَا شَبِيبُ بْنُ غَرْقَدة، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ الْبَارِقِيِّ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى الله عَلَيْه وَسَلَّمَ: «الْخَيْرُ مَعْقُودٌ فِي نَوَاصِي الْخَيْلِ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ»

Sayyiduna Urwah al-Bariqi (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Goodness is tied to the forelocks of horses until the Day of Resurrection."

Hadith 14483

حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ مُوسَى، ثَنَا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ، ثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، ثَنَا شَبِيبُ بْنُ غَرْقَدة قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ عُرْوَةَ بْنَ أَبِي الْجَعْدِ الْبَارِقِيَّ يَقُولُ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى الله عَلَيْه وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «الْخَيْلُ مَعْقُودٌ فِي نَوَاصِيهَا الْخَيْرُ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ»

Sayyiduna Urwah bin Abi al-Ja'd al-Bariqi (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Goodness is tied to the forelocks of horses until the Day of Resurrection."

Hadith 14484

حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ مُوسَى، ثَنَا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ، ثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، ثَنَا شَبِيبُ بْنُ غَرْقَدة، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ الْحَيَّ، يُحَدِّثُونَهُ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ أَبِي الْجَعْدِ الْبَارِقِيِّ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَعْطَاهُ دِينَارًا لِيَشْتَرِيَ لَهُ بِهِ أُضْحِيَّةً، قَالَ عُرْوَةُ: فَاشْتَرَيْتُ لَهُ بِهِ شَاتَيْنِ فَبِعْتُ أَحَدَهُمَا بِدِينَارٍ وَشَاةٍ «فَدَعَا لِي بِالْبَرَكَةِ فِي الْبَيْعِ» وَكَانَ إِذَا اشْتَرَى التُّرَابَ رَبِحَ فِيهِ.

Shabib bin Gharqadah (may Allah have mercy on him) said: I heard the people of my tribe narrating from Sayyiduna Urwah bin Abi al-Ja'd al-Bariqi (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) gave him a dinar to buy a sacrificial animal for him with it. Urwah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I bought two sheep with it, then sold one of them for a dinar and a sheep. He (peace and blessings be upon him) supplicated for blessing in my trade for me, so (through the blessing of that supplication) if he had bought even dust, he would have made a profit in it.

Hadith 14485

حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ، ثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ شَبِيبٍ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِثْلَهُ

Sayyiduna Urwah al-Bariqi (may Allah be pleased with him) also narrated a similar hadith from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).
