حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، ثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ، ثَنَا فِطْرُ بْنُ خَلِيفَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، قَالَ: وَقَفَ عَلَيْنَا عُرْوَةُ الْبَارِقِيُّ وَنَحْن فِي مَجْلِسِنَا فَحَدَّثَنَا قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى الله عَلَيْه وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «الْخَيْلُ مَعْقُودٌ فِي نَوَاصِيهَا الْخَيْرُ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ»
Abu Ishaq said: Urwah al-Bariqi (may Allah be pleased with him) stopped by us while we were sitting in our gathering and began narrating hadith to us. He said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Goodness is tied to the forelocks of horses until the Day of Resurrection."
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، ثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يُونُسَ، ثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ، ثَنَا أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ الْبَارِقِيِّ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى الله عَلَيْه وَسَلَّمَ مِثْلَهُ
Sayyiduna Urwah al-Bariqi (may Allah be pleased with him) also narrated a similar hadith from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).
حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ، ثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ، ثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ.

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ، ثَنَا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ، ثَنَا سِنَانُ بْنُ مُطاهِرٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْحَمِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ الْفَرَّاءِ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ الْبَارِقِيِّ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى الله عَلَيْه وَسَلَّمَ: «الْخَيْلُ مَعْقُودٌ فِي نَوَاصِيهَا الْخَيْرُ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ»

Sayyiduna Urwah bin Abi al-Ja'd (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Goodness is tied to the forelocks of horses."
