حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنُ مَنْدَهْ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ، ثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي بُكَيْرٍ الْكَرْمَانِيُّ، ثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ، عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ الزِّبْرِقَانِ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أَبِي خَالِدٍ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، عَنْ عَدِيِّ بْنِ حَاتِمٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ «بَعَثَهُ مُصَدِّقًا إِلَى قَوْمِهِ، فَلَمَّا أَخَذَ صَدَقَاتِهِمْ وَافَقَ ذَلِكَ وَفَاةَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Adi bin Hatim (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) sent him to his people to collect the zakah. When he had collected their charities, that coincided with the death of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) (that is, he (peace and blessings be upon him) passed away at that very time).
حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَيَّانَ الْمَازِنِيُّ قَالَا: ثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ، مَوْلَى بَنِي هَاشِمٍ، ثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ يَزِيدَ الصُّدَائِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِي هانِئٍ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، عَنْ عَدِيِّ بْنِ حَاتِمٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «لَا تُسَافِرِ الْمَرْأَةُ فَوْقَ ثَلَاثٍ إلَّا مَعَ ذِي مَحْرَمٍ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Adi bin Hatim (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "A woman should not travel for more than three days except with a mahram."
