حَدَّثَنَا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ الْأَسْفَاطِيُّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا زُرَيْكُ بْنُ أَبِي زُرَيْكٍ، عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ قُرَّةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ سَلَامٍ: أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: «خَيْرُ النِّسَاءِ تَسُرُّكَ إِذَا أَبْصَرْتَ، وَتُعْطِيكَ إِذَا أَمَرْتَ، وَتَحْفَظُ غَيْبَتَكَ فِي نَفْسِهَا وَمَالِكَ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Salam (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The best woman is the one who pleases you when you look at her, obeys you when you command her, and guards her honour and your wealth in your absence."
حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مَتْوِيَّةَ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ صُدْرَانَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا زُرَيْكُ بْنُ أَبِي زُرَيْكٍ، عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ قُرَّةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ سَلَامٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَا بَيْنَ مِصْراعَيِ الْجَنَّةِ مِقْدَارُ أَرْبَعِينَ عَامًا، وَلَيَأْتِيَنَّ عَلَيْهِ يَوْمٌ يُزَاحَمَ عَلَيْهِ كَازْدِحَامِ الْإِبِلِ وَرَدَتْ لِخَمْسٍ ظَمْآ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Salam (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Between the two door-leaves of Paradise is a distance of forty years, and a day will surely come upon it when it will be crowded the way camels thirsty for five days crowd around water."
