حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ نَاجِيَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ، ثنا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ الْمَدَنِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ، عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «غَدْوَةٌ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ أَوْ رَوْحَةٌ خَيْرٌ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا وَمَا فِيهَا»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Sahl bin Sa'd (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Setting out in the morning or in the evening in the path of Allah is better than the world and everything in it."
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ نَاجِيَةَ، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ، ثنا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ، عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ، عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «إِذا نَابَ أَحَدُكُمْ شَيْءٌ فِي صَلَاتِهِ فَلْيُسَبِّحْ، فَإِنَّ التَّسْبِيحَ لِلرِّجَالِ، وَالتَّصْفِيقَ لِلنِّسَاءِ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Sahl bin Sa'd (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When something happens to one of you in his prayer, let him say subhan Allah, for saying subhan Allah is for men and clapping is for women."
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ نَاجِيَةَ، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ، ثنا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ، عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ، عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَوْضِعُ سَوْطٍ فِي الْجَنَّةِ، خَيْرٌ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا وَمَا فِيهَا»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Sahl bin Sa'd (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "A place the size of a whip in Paradise is better than the world and everything in it."
حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْفَسَوِيُّ، ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ نَافِعٍ دَرَخْتَ، ثنا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ، عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ، عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، «أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَأْكُلُ الْبِطِّيخَ بِالرُّطَبِ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Sahl bin Sa'd (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to eat watermelon with fresh dates.
