حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْحَجَّاجِ الْمَرْوَزِيُّ، ثنا ابْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ، أَنَا مُصْعَبُ بْنُ ثَابِتٍ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو حَازِمٍ، عَنْ سَهْلٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «الْمُؤْمِنُ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْإِيمَانِ، بِمَنْزِلَةِ الرَّأْسِ مِنَ الْجَسَدِ، يَأْلَمُ الْمُؤْمِنُ لِأَهْلِ الْإِيمَانِ، كَمَا يَأْلَمُ الْجَسَدُ لِمَا فِي الرَّأْسِ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Sahl bin Sa'd (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The believer, among the people of faith, is like the head to the body. The believer feels pain for the people of faith just as the body feels pain for what is in the head."
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْمُعَلَّى الدِّمَشْقِيُّ، ثنا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ جَنَابٍ الْمِصِّيصِيُّ قَالَا: ثنا عِيسَى بْنُ يُونُسَ، عَنْ مُصْعَبِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ السَّاعِدِيِّ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «الْمُؤْمِنُ مَأْلَفَةٌ، وَلَا خَيْرَ فِيمَنْ لَا يَأْلَفُ وَلَا يُؤْلَفُ»
Sayyiduna Sahl bin Sa'd al-Sa'idi (may Allah be pleased with him) said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The believer is one who gives and receives affection, and there is no good in one who neither shows affection nor is shown affection."
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ النَّضْرِ الْعَسْكَرِيُّ، ثنا مُؤَمَّلُ بْنُ إِهَابٍ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ الْعَدَنِيُّ، عَنْ مُصْعَبِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ، عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «دَخَلْتُ الْجَنَّةَ، فَإِذَا حَسٌّ فَنَظَرْتُ، فَإِذَا هُوَ بِلَالٌ»
Sayyiduna Sahl bin Sa'd (may Allah be pleased with him) said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I entered Paradise and heard a sound; I looked, and it was Bilal."
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ النَّضْرِ، ثنا مُؤَمَّلُ بْنُ إِهَابٍ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ الْعَدَنِيُّ، عَنْ مُصْعَبِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ، عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " أُمِرْتُ أَنْ أُقَاتِلَ النَّاسَ حَتَّى يَقُولُوا: لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ، فَإِذَا قَالُوا: لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ، عَصَمُوا مِنِّي دِمَاءَهُمْ وَأَمْوَالَهُمْ إِلَّا بِحَقِّهَا، وَحِسَابُهُمْ عَلَى اللهِ "
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Sahl bin Sa'd (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I have been commanded to fight the people until they say, 'There is no deity worthy of worship except Allah.' So when they say it, they have protected their lives and their wealth from me, except by its right, and their reckoning is with Allah."
